Welcome to Librarium Online!
Ok, this list is pretty much the same as the first, but with changes for those smaller battles. Again I need all the advise I can get!

Swap the serpent to the guardians - dark reapers don't need it, and don't really want to be off the table in escalation, it means they won't be firing for a substantial portion of the game.
In fact I'd drop the reapers and get another identical unit of guardians, I think it would be of much more use.
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone
The serpent is actually not assigned to the reapers, Im going to use it for the fire warriors or the wraithguards. But thanks for the advice on the reapers, I was kinda in two minds about them but thought theyd be best as an extra anti-terminator or tank unit.
edit: its for fire or guards in the 2k list, just fir warriors in this one!
What's your farseer planning to guide? it's all short ranged and your squads are foot slogging so won't look kike what they started when they reach the enemy. I'd say drop guide and spirit stones.
Your wave serpent probably needs missiles (and catapults).
Is the wave serpent really attached to the reapers? not the avengers + farseer? I'd still say it's not worth having the serpent at all. It will get gunned down to fast without another one (or a falcon) to back it up.
Dropping the wave serpent lets you max out your spears and reapers.
EDIT: ah you posted just before me.
EDITEDIT: and dark reapers don't hurt terminators. Not enough ap.
The guide was for the wraithlord. I might re think that.
As for the serpent, If I leave it in and take missiles, do i have to specify which missiles its equipped with or does it come with both? (im thinking both, just wanted clarification!) If I dropped it, rather than maxing out my current troops, wouldnt an extra unit of something else be better?
It comes with both. You choose which ones you want to shoot each time you fire. It's only whirlwinds that you have to choose at the start.
Well I'd say either drop the reapers and get a serpent for both dragons and avengers (and the farseer).
OR drop the wave serpent and get more reapers/shining spears.
Oh and get your farseer a singing spear. It suits your army better and where he is. Be aware that runes of witnessing increase the chance of your farseer getting PoWed. I usually reserve it solely for fortune (which can't afford to fail).
Question on the spears. Are they really that good? Reading the codex they dont look like anything special, but ive seen a few people mention how much they like them but never specified why. If you can convince me ill drop the wave serpent and max out the rest! (not keen on the serpant anyway, just seemed like a good alternative to a falcon!)
Can't help you there. I haven't bought any spears since they were crap under the old codex. They certainly look intimidating on paper though.
