Ok i just decided il be a Necron Commander
Now i just need your advice so what models should i buy first ?
Please give me an list or some advice
My thanks in advance
IIRC, the battle force box comes with 28 warriors, 5 swarm bases, and 3 destroyers.
You'll need a lord.
Without making any other purchases you can have this list:
Lord - 170
Resorb, Phase Shifter
2x14 Warriors - 504
5 Scarabs Swarms D fields - 80
3 Destroyers - 150
This is the basic list, that you can make with that, however this is not 1000 points yet. Remember, the lord can have up to 100 points in war gear, and include the warscythe. Also the wargear I put there is simple (Orb is a must) and the shifter gives you an inv save. It'll be easier to help you once you decide where to steer you army and your basic components of the army. And your play style. I suggest that you either buy another battle force, then you can make a list similar to this:
Lord - 155
Resorb, Gaze of flame
3x10 Warriors - 540
2x3 Destroyers - 300
This is a more destroyer based list, but it's what you can make with it. I didn't put scarabs into it because I didn't think that they would fit in a starting army. The Gaze is to help deal with nearby enemy units (I forget the exact effect, don't have the codex on me right now...). Destroyers take out the largest threats quick-like then light infantry. It is nice that they wound marines on 2's tho...
Let me know what you think. We'll see what you want to do with that.
I explain several necron army varieties in the second post in this thread:

So, what to get? Well, with necrons, its pretty easy fortunately.
Get a battleforce + lord and that should take you right up to 1000points.
I think that's a great start. it gives you a good solid base to start with, and as you play you can add on according to your playstyle.
Wriaths are great for zipping up and tying up fast movers, immortals are awesome and destroyers are pretty much the main stay of most necron armmies out there.

WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!
Yea, definitely start with a battleforce, its 20 warriors, 3 destroyers (4 in some boxes if youre lucky) and 5 swarms. Also, normally there are 4 swarms on a model, if you only use 3 per base (as they have 3 wounds, 3 attacks) you can get a little more out of them)
Then just a lord and a codex. Cost just under £70
Suggested stargting list:
Res orb, Phase shifter, phylactery, gaze of flame (keep the staff of light)
2 x 10 warriors
2 x 3 scarab bases
Comes to just under 790 pts
Then get a monolith!! 3 heavy destroyers, immortals as a lord bodyguard and maybe morr warriors. Should give you around 1500-2000 pts. (possibly boost the destroyer unit to 5 aswell)
Buy 2 Battleforces and a Lord and you'll be good to go for a starter army. Immortals will be your next, likely, addition. And definitely put 3 Scarab models to a base, I wish I did when I first started collecting. You'll probably want a Monolith before long, but get your Destroyers up in numbers. The Necron Battleforce box is awesome, everything is useful in it, so expand with those. Even if you won't be fielding all those Warriors, save them for conversion. Right now, I'm working on FO and Immortal conversions. I clip off the Gauss Rifle of one Warrior, do a little nipping and filing and attach it to the Gauss Rifle of a future Immortal. Beef up the shoulder pads a bit and you have an Immortal. With the Warrior you stole a Gauss Rifle from, pose it really cool, attach some FO claws(ordered from GW), and add a little GS and you have an FO.
FO conversion credit goes to Gojiratoho.

i bought flayed ones, i fiured they would make good things to tear up shooty armies with. i wish i would have got some heavy destoyers though. they eat termies (the main stay of most SM armies)
