Your list is very...unbalanced. It's also unfocused.
Broodlord is not a balanced choice. Many missions will not allow infiltrate, which means that you have a very expensive assault unit that will get shot to pieces, easily. If you MUST take a broodlord, take the minimum retinue and transfer the extra genestealers into another troop choice.
Your tyrant is a good choice. It can lay down a lot of shots and it's no slouch in close combat, even without upgrades. Just watch out for hidden powerfists or getting bogged down in a lot of little guys.
If you must use warriors, I'd give them toxin sacs in addition to what they have. However, devilfexes (ES, 2xTL-Devs at 113 points) usually do better and are more survivable.
Talons on genestealers are largely a waste of points. Just take extended carapace and spend the extra points on more stealers. If can, try using multiple small broods like three of six, or two of eight. For your hormagaunts, split them into three of eight.
Preferably, I'd replace your hormagaunts with termagaunts and/or spinegaunts. Hormagaunts are only really useful against GEQs, but you'll be playing at such a high points that the small number won't do you much good.
Raveners are an alright choice, I guess. Just be sure to field them as three squads of two.
Get at least two zoanthropes and give them warp blast AND synapse. They're cheap and shrug off fire that'll destroy warriors. Also, lone models rarely draw huge amounts of fire.
Rethink your carnifexes. Consider making them sniperfexes (VC, BS, ES) for some MUCH needed anti-tank. Give the sniperfexes the +1W upgrade, and you're all set. The extended carapace is largely useless as anything that should be shooting at the carnifolk will bypass even 2+ armor saves. Of course, against Necrons, that's a different story.
Here's what I suggest:
Winged Devil Tyrant
Walking Tyrant with a guard or two, armed with VC and Devs
A devilfex or two, perhaps a ninjafex (2xScytals, Flesh Hooks, AG WS, Miasma at 114 points) if enough points
Two broods of genestealers (six or eight)
One or two squads of one or two Raveners
One squad of 12 gargoyles (converted out of hormagaunts)
Two sniperfexes (with +1 W upgrade)
Two or three zoanthropes with synapse and warp blast
And the rest in Termagaunts/spinegaunts, which you can fit about, if you minimize upgrades, about fourty of the little buggers.

so u think i should use sniper fexs because in my personal expierience they never hit anything, id rather use rending claws and MCs to kill tanks, seems to work fine against anything but eldar tanks, but if its much better ill try it
and the warriors i was going to give cara pace and sacs sorry i forgot to post
should i just get rid of the hormo gaunts for more stelers and what about scuttlers is that worth it
or do u think i should just load up on guants im not sure which way to go with this army,
whether i should load up and larger creatures or sall but i like what the brood lord can do it usually seems to be the last thing alive and wins alot of games for me.
helps with fighting avators and wriathlords
thanks for the help and any more assistance is appriciated
