    Very Cookie Cutter, lacks tremendous close combat potential, but if you just whither away an opponents squad then hit with the Autarch/Spear squad you should do alright. I'd consider dropping the rangers and a guardian squad and get some fire dragons for one of those falcons, just to give you some dedicated anti tank punch

    Yea, drop those rangers, unless they are upgraded to pathfinders they are useless, and even then they aint to good.

    Add some dragons for some anti-tank punch.

    very tidy, couple of issues:

    1. Autarch, needs either banshee mask or mandiblasters
    2. spears squad is too small, they need resiliance for the combat in his turn, you need 2 more
    3. rangers should always be upgradesd to pathfinders
    4. Spirit stones are quite a waste of points on vypers (open topped)
    5. Both rangers and gusrdians do not kill particularly fast

    Based on that I would, as the others have suggested, ditch the rangers, add 2 more spears, add mask/blasters to autarch

    If I was trying to get tourney nasty I would ditch guardians as well and add mroe DA, possibly even a harley squad

    One other thing, what is the farseer going to do?

    Ok I took the advice from you three and put it together. I decided Cheradine was right with the guardians and since I like DA a lot more I am going to swap the guards for more DA. I also bulked up the shining spear squad and dropped the rangers. I wont need the Farseer anymore either since I mostly took him for warlocks/doom (shining spears). He is a little too expensive for just dooming the spears now. I also thought it would be good to add a small squads of banshees for some close combat ability and firedragons for heavy support. Spirit Stones on vypers = dropped.

    You've got several things mis-costed. The Autarch should be 130, the Spears should be 227, and the Vipers should be 120 per squadron. That totals 1793, giving you 57 pts to play with.

    I'd ditch the banshees in favor of harlies or scorps, a 6-man squad of banshees just isn't enough IMO. I'm also iffy on the Dragons, but there is a marked lack of anti-tank in the list. I'd take care of that some other way, though.

    Ok here is a new list with the other suggestions added in. Dropped the Banshees for some Harlequins. Now my question is: Would I be better off with the 4 Vypers or mounting 2 units of the DA in Waveserpents?

    The list looks great. I would however drop the two non kiss harlies so they can ride in the other falcon or if you want more foot troops get a shadowseer. Either is fine and good luck.
