They have a completely different specialization as opposed to the Archon. I would put them on reaver jetbikes and use them in tandem. Or drop the skyboards and slog them in squads with the WWP.
And why the poisoned blades?
In a few words:
Overall configuraton is good on certain occasians, as you arent guaranteed to become Str6 since you have to break/outrun the enemy on a charge. Very good vs IG, marines and Tau but will turn out disasterous vs Chaos, and teminator equivalent units. There is always an option of sticking him on a bike with agoniser, joining the reaver unit which will make the unit quite good for both MEQ and tank hunting purposes.
Both units need to be 10 strong (on raiders), with agoniser equiped succubi and trophy racks for Ld9, hell mask is taken only in 20 man units on foot so its not required.
As said, 3 sniper units is fine. Sybarites in big units dont need anything except the WWP. If you give a WWP to each of the two, they will foot slog for the 1st turn maybe even two, depoy and let all hell loose. The two big warrior units need to be 20 each in order to survive footsloging for 1-2 turns depending on cover/amount of firepower your opponent has. Scourges are by far THE WORST units to carry WWP
Drop hellions, it hurts my eyes just seeing them there. Bikes are useless too in this configuration, a unit needs to be at least 5 strong with 2 blasters, and succubi with agoniser/tormentor helm for extra attack.
Scourges are the WORST units for WWP carrying purposes, the soonest you will have it deployed is turn 2 so your units will come out on turn 3 the SOONEST. Many people get this confused, but scourges deepstrike on turn 2 if get lucky, they can deploy instead of shooting so they can only deploy it on turn 2 the soonest and then units come out the next turn, which is turn 3. And this is considering the fact that you have a good reserve roll on turn 2. If you give the WWPs to the two sybarites than you can have units come out of it on turn 2!!! Truthfully, I would drop scourges period to free up 200 points for a second talos or ravager, and maybe a unit of warp beast or something. Also, ravagers need to be either all lance or all disie, I would actualy suggest droping one for a talos since you are using a WWP.

Hi WraithguardianIt's even worse than that. Deepstriking units are considered to have moved in case of 'move or shoot' weapons and the like. Ergo, deepstriking prohibits opening the portal on arrival. As the portal can only be opened when the carrier hasn't moved and shot in that turn. In your situation given, he'll be able to open the portal in turn 3, not in turn 2. Resrves will be arriving from turn 4 onwards. A bit late in my oppinion. Hence scourges are the worst units for WWP carrying purposes.Scourges are the WORST units for WWP carrying purposes, the soonest you will have it deployed is turn 2 so your units will come out on turn 3 the SOONEST. For the rest I concur with your tips

i play it that it is move or shoot, in that you may not do either.
scourges are not that bad for WWP carriers, purely because you don't deepstrike them.
you just fly 12" and deploy and don't ahve to worry about FoF. this is can be better than a raider mounted one because they are easier to hide behind terrain. although for me this is a bit of an all eggs in one basket scenario, especially being kitted out with all the splinter cannons and the use of a heavy support spot.
but i have to agree that i don't like this list, tghere are too many units that don't fulfil a purpose(reavers (without blasters) & wyches with no succubus), and a few units that are just useless in general(hellions).
i would give a more detailed discription, but i won't be adding enough to what has been said already to make it worth while.
In all due respect, but you're reading it wrong. I'ts plain semantic logic. 'Or' has to be read as 'and'. Using the word 'or', like in the scentence '...instead of moving or shooting', implies that it's enough to prohibit the opening when one of both conditions is met. Hence, when the carrier wants to open the portal he has to give up both his movement and shooting (fleet of foot included) phase.

The reason you are getting confused is because english grammar is strange the sentence in question uses or not to give an option but to impose a restriction as in the following sentence:
You may float instead of sinking or swimming
This does not mean that you may both sink and float or swim and float it means that you may float if you choose to neither sink nor swim.
