I'm shaky on my Necron Army after i stopped playing for a year. I was wondering if this list is still in good standing after any updates they might have had added.
Foot Lord w/Orb & VoD
1491 points 47 "necrons" phase out when 36 units are killed 11 left on the field (I think)
I think my friends use Tau(lots of Fire Warriors), IG(Bas. and a lot of tanks), and 2 SM armies. (Blood Angels and Salamander)
Well any advise on the list and strategy would be helpful.

I don't know how much help I can be...
Your army seems fine, and fits the current rules well (I don't think much has changed for the Necrons in the last year).
Your lord is pretty standard, and usually effective- I assume you use him to VoD the Immortals around? You could use him to move warriors around instead too- get them in rapid fire range sooner (an immortal is just as good at 24" as it is at 1", unlike warriors).
Destroyers are good, and your unit should be large enough to survive a bit of a beating.
The Monolith is usually a solid choice- great for the WBB rolls (and landing amid large groups of fire warriors and using the flux arcs is fun...). I haven't used it yet against blood angels, but am hoping to soon (Hopefully a nice ordnance blast will finally free me of those Death Company...)
Basilisks could be pain from guard, due to indirect fire, but you have enough manouverability to get to these quickly. Other tanks are a danger until you can strip them of weapons- remove all low AP weapons and you're fine.
