At first I was very suprised at how much I could fit into this list:
The nightbringer is too cool not to include - a close combat monster that can blow away banshees and harlequins :w00t:
Since I often run into termie trouble, the nightbringer seems to be a perfect solution to countering this. I also think that the rest of the army is quite solid - good numbers, hard to take down, AP4!!! Although the list is quite slow, the immortals sort of make up for this with their decent range, mobile assault fire.
Yes, I know there is no res. orb around, but whose going shoot the warriors when there are immortals and the nightbringer prancing around?
And yes, I also know that snipers can really ruin a nightbringer's day, so maybe I could hide him behind terrain until scout snipers, rangers, etc. have been taken out.
So what do you think?
Thanks for any replies
No stats please. Cheers. ~ Papa Karmoon

That is a very slow list. Nothing there moves more than 6" and I don't hold to that.
But if that's the way you're going I won't stop you. I just think any Fast Attack and any long range will screw you over. I know necrons in general are tough to keep down but kinda worried you're guys won't stay alive long enough to rapid-fire the enemy.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
As said that list is incrediably slow.
Believe it or not I would never run a C'tan in that type of list, they may be tough but he will be advancing ahead of your army (for CC) and costs waaaay too many points for that, he will get picked on by an entire army and he won't stand up to concentrated anti tank fire.
You'd be much better off taking a lord with res orb and 4 destroyers, (which would give you enough points for another warrior).
Though for a competitive list im not overly struck on it, but thats just my personal preferance.
Thread moved. Remember to put army lists in the army list section
Also remember not to post stat rules directly down.
1. It breaks copy right
2. Do you think necron players really need to be reminded what an Immortal can do?

Anyway, I've made some changes:
Total - 1946pts
What do you think now?
10 scarabs will tie down one enemy unit.
2 units of 5 scarabs will tie down two enemy units...
As stated above, I would not run a Nightbringer in such list, but then I am very new to the Necrons in general. Doesn't he have a rule which makes him a viable target even though he is an IC? He will die first... I fear the lask of mobility will kill you. Also - your points seem to be not right - 1946 ina 1500 list?!?
Thanks for all the replies!
And yeah, sorry, I was meant to put the total of the list as 1496
I took a list simmilar to this to a tornement recently and if was quite effective. The nightbringer was quite resitiant, (except to dakka fexes) ouch!!! one shooting at it in one turn put 4 wounds on it! anyway, i had fewer immortals and 3 destroyers. I found that the list could put out a serious ammount of damage and mobility was never a big problem.
like i said before the only trouble i had was against tyranids. but it did't help that i failed i failed all of the pinnig checks i was forced to take.
but back to your list... looks good, you will be able to destroy any armour 4 or 5+ infantry with ease and the nightbringer can do a number on terminators marines, and MCs
