    1700 Gt

    Please let me know what you think of this army. I am going to be trying out the fortuned + destructor jet bike seer council this week.

    I have worked with a fortuned shining spear squad with a speartach that had mixed results.

    This squad is cheaper, better against armor (4 sawed off las cannons + HTH attacks), has re-rolling invul saves (provided the fortune goes off) and against less than marine armor can easily wipe out entire squads with 3 templates. It is not good in HtH and need the scorps to bail them out if they get stuck in.

    I don't see Maugan Ra in many GT lists, I think he can make his points back, he is so versatile, anit troops, anti armor (rending), great against snipers (crack shot), and is a great counter HtH troop for the dire avengers, (fleet and a high str power weapon)

    The scorps worry me a bit in games where they can't infiltrate. They are slow moving and slogging them down the field negates thier ability to support the jetbike seer council.

    3 prisms gives me redundancy. Falcons are hard to kill but easy to stun. keeping two active every turn to pie plate marines is the idea. Nice also to have range of board.

    Personnaly I think too much investment in expensive components with too few models and too few scoring units
    Overall it is difficult to point to specific weaknesses, other than 10 scorps in a squad please, Mr Ra isnt really doing much and the seer council HQ is too expensive for what it is

    the council with destructor is nice, but just doesnt work. the fundamental problem with it, is youve got to get close in to flamer, which means close combat is gonna happen in some shape or form, and mine have died to guardsmen in combat quite consistently... the entire squad has 4 attacks between them, which i dont need to tell you, is a bloody nightmare.
