    Just why? The seers cannot use psychic powers from inside of the serpents so those powers are just wasted until the turn after they disembark as the powers are used at the beginning of the phase, when they would still be in the transport. I am not a big fan of putting all of your eggs in one basket and that is exactly what I see this as.

    banshees cannot take powerblades, they either have mirror swords or the executioner. Otherwise good.

    If you are going to take rangers it is really worth it to upgrade them to pathfinders. Starcannons have really lost their punch in the new dex, you would be better off getting the guardians a scatter laser. Also with the Dire avengers they really need to be maxed out and have bladestorm to be effective. The stormies would benefit from special weapons as well.

    It seems to me that you are trying to create an army very similar to what one would have played with the old dex. The only problem with that is that things have changed in the new dex, what was once good may not necessarily be good anymore.

    I was thinking of making to seperate HQ squads that look like this.

    Farseer, Fortune, Mind War, Witch Blade, S. Pis.
    Warlock, Destructor, CCW, S.Pis
    Warlock, Destructor, CCW, S.Pis
    Warlock, Enhance, CCW, S. Pis

    And then using my extra points to add some Harlies.

    problem if you do that is getting cklose enough for the destructors to ghave any effect

    I agree with chere, practically the only way that I see that type of unit working is mounted on bikes but then the costs start getting really ridiculous.

    I understand what you want to do here Meat but the thing about these types of squads is that your opponent will just see them as easy VPs. Fortune or not, with enough focused fire these squads will go down pretty easily if they are just slogging it up the board. Putting them in a transport does not work all that well either due to the arguments above. Like I said, pretty much the only way to get good mobility and use your psychic powers throughout the game is by mounting them on bikes.

    I agree with most of the comments so far. Especially about bumping the Rangers up to Pathfinders, and the Dire Avenger squad needing to be bigger & have Bladestorm

    Personally, I think Starcannons are still better than they get credit for. I never played Eldar until this codex, so I never got to use the 3 shot version. However I think they are still very good, just not ridiculously good.
    Some of the current anti-star cannon attitude seems to be partly spite, as in people are pissed off that they got weakened, so they wont use them. Even if theyre still a great weapon.

    Ok my final post here.

    I am going to make the vipers into dual shuriken cannons.
    I am going to make my dire avenger/black guardian squad bigger
    And I am going to put 1 of my farseers behind my guardians
    And maybe put the other one in my falcon?
