i already have:
6 scorpians including exarch
6 dragons including exarch
10 dire avengers including exarch
3 shining spears including exarch
5 warp spiders including exarch
i was wondering what to add and how to employ it best against nids and guard
You don't have ANY heavy support choice, is that right? I think it's most important that you aff at least two of the following list, if you play against guard and nids:
At least one Wraithlord with EML and bright lance (to hunt down imperial tanks and monstrous nids)
1-2 Fire Prisms (they'll wreak havoc in large Troops and are also able to shoot down tanks and large nids)
Perhaps a Falcon to transport your Fire Dragons near the imperial tanks.
I recommend you use a squad of 4 Gaurdian Jetbikes with a Shuriken Cannon and a Warlock with Singing Spear and Destrutor over Defender Gaurdians. Main reason I say this is because your Gaurdians isn't playing a big part in your army at the moment and bikers will increase the mobility of your force to back up those Striking Scorpions, Warp Spiders and Shining Spears.
Next a squadron of 3 Warwalkers with 2 Scatter Lasers each will give you enough firepower to rip through those squads of infantry as well as knock our those medium tanks and monstrous creatures. Currently you have little in the long ranged heavy fire department, the inclusion of these guys will boost your potential.
Lastly I recommend a Falcon with a Starcannon, Shuriken Cannon undermount, Holofield and Spirit Stone. This lends itself to transporting your Firedragons and affords you alot of high strength and low ap shots to deal with those tanks and elite infantry squads. Not to mention it counts as two scoring units. The Falcon in this configurtation has enough shots to hit squads of infantry hard anyway, but if you give your Firedragon exarch a Dragonsbreath instead of a Firepike or Fusiongun you can cause considerable damage against regular squads as well as vehicles.
This following choice I don't consider vital but it would help you alot if you hav e the points spare. An Autarch with Jetbike, Mandiblasters and Laserlance can boost the number of attacks your Shining Spears have considerably and give you a high chance of killing the squad your charge in the first salvo of attacks. If you do get him you can probably convert him by buying another boxed set of Shining Spears and convert the Exarch. It will boost the squadron size to maximum as well, increasing its hitting power and survivability.
For more detail on how to use each of the mentioned units please refer to my Eldar Tactica (link can be found under my signiture)
ok ive tryed to incorparate that into a list take a look and see what you think
