Witch one is better?
Its a simple question but between these two great units i would like to kno wich one u guys think gets more bang for there buck.
The jumpy Warp Spiders
The 2+ Cover save Pathfinders
Its a question for the ages.
DUN. Dun. dun.
''Quality Over Quantity''
Spiders, you get far more bang for you buck, and at the end of the day that's what wins battles. Just ask a Tau player.
Warp spiders any and every day of the week, firstly because they're cheaper, they are a very effective assault unit due to their rules and equipment, which i would say is more useful in all of the missions, in the 40k rule book, than pathfinders, which may not die due to the cover save, but can only perform one role, which is to take out high toughness/heavy armoured foes.
Strength is knowing your weakness
THIS IS SPARTA!
Lol, which is better...apples or oranges.
It all depends on the rest of your list mate. But Warp Spiders tend to work well with any kind of eldar army, thats why they're enjoying a high at the moment.
I personally like my pathfinders, give me some much needed ranged support after I fill up my heavies.

If anyone wants any kind of help writing fluff for any kind of GW army just ask.
I never used both but the sniping abilities of the pathfinders are really something. 5+ to get ap1 is awsome for killing characters and terminators. Then again like all of us putting up polls, we all fail to realise that there is really no wrong choice, only better ones.
I like warp spiders, but why are you asking between these two? They do completely different things.
honestly, it really really depends on what your objectives are and what army your playing.
If you know which army your playing and its full of high toughness creatures, then pathfinders are the way to go...
If your playing Tau or IG and you need to be mobile and take quaters, spiders are by far the best option.
Personally, I would include both in my army as they fill different roles, but roles that are needed none the less.
Spiders to zip around and harrass the enemy, and the Pathfinders (or simply rangers) to shoot stuff.
So yes...as someone said before Apples and Oranges man.
A wise man once said: Blow me @$$wipe
