Hi im thinking of Starting a new Eldar Alaitoc Army but im not sure about how to go about it. I have a Black Templars Army so im pretty familiar with the rules. Could anyone give me any suggestions on building my army in 500 point blocks. Also are there any unit restrictions in this craftworld ( like are some units not allowed to be used in this craftworld)
Codex: Craftworld Eldar is no longer legal so Alaitoc has no bonuses or penalties. When people refer to it they generally mean a static, shooty eldar army with lots of pathfinders.
Farseer /w doom
exarch /w shadowstrike, stalker, scorpions claw
10 Guardians /w scatter laser
Warlock /w conceal
Wraithlord /w bright lance, missile launcher
That's a fairly standard, smaller Alaitoc force. It shoots up the enemy with scorpions and wraithlord giving you cc dominance. Larger armies tend to add an avatar, dire avengers, support weapons, dark reapers and more pathfinders so that the emphasis becomes heavily on shooting. Some people even like to add kroot mercenaries (which you could also use with your templar) to keep up the infiltration theme.
To start I'd say buy a Farseer, 10 Rangers (2 ranger boxes), 10 Guardians (guardian box). This will give you something to play with at least and should equal about 500 points, as money allows add the rest that I've suggested above.

If anyone wants any kind of help writing fluff for any kind of GW army just ask.
