Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hi, this may sound like a noob-ish question but its always bothered me. Can an Eldar Wraithlord move six inches and then fire two heavy weapons like a bright lance and scatter laser? In the Monsterous Creature entry in the rules it says that a monsterous creature can fire two weapons, but can it move and fire? Thanks!
Also, is a Missle Launcher/Scatter Laser a good combo for a WL? I currently use it and like it but I was wondering if anyone feels that it's worth it to upgrade the ML to a Bright Lance? Thanks again!
Usually it is better to pair weapons that complement each other - i.e. anti tank or anti-infantry. So a bright lance goes better with a missile launcher, while a shuriken cannon goes better with a scatter laser. Also, is a Missle Launcher/Scatter Laser a good combo for a WL? There are 2 common wraithlord varieties.
-Bright Lance, Missile Launcher, 2 Flamers
Sit him in cover and simply shoot tanks with the increased BS of the wraithlord. As the wraithlord and the wave serpent are our only accurate guns they often get the lances and missiles.
-Bright Lance, Wraithsword, 2 Flamers
He advances towards enemies, usually with an avatar or another wraithlord beside him. He want's to get into cc and the bright lance is just to shoot at any AV14 things along the way. A missile launcher instead of bright lance is viable too.
Feel free to make your own, they're just the most popular as they give accurate anti-tank. The scatter laser/shurikannon kind is often ignored because we have so many other good anti-infantry units (vypers /w 2 shurikannons can do the job at least as well as the wraithlord).
Though others may have different experiences than I myself, I am not a fan if the wraith sword at all. When you consider the low number of attacks that the wraithlord has and the fact that it does nothing until he hits combat coupled with his slow movement rate makes this option not worth it to me. I would much rather have another ranged weapon firing from turn one than an upgrade that I may never use the entire game.

oooh, LL forgot the fire prism as a high BS unit.
Link, your army list is not available(I can't get to it at least).
I've always liked the missile launcher over the BL for saving a few points, and there are usually other BLs in the army to do that job. That way when he gets bogged into combat, it won't be missed.
W/D/L Eleventy trillion billion/NONE/ NONE - I am STILL rulezor!
WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!
Missile Launchers are far better than lances on most things in my opinion. 1 Lance is really the most you'll ever need, especially if you have melta or wraith weapons. Also when tau try to fish 'o fury you nothing screws them over more than a pinning plasma missile.
And no I didn't forget the fire prism, I meant our accurate heavy weapons (not specialist weapons). In other words, the shurikannon, scatter laser, starcannon, missile launcher and bright lance. Vypers, Guardians, War Walkers (although walkers can still feasibly have lances), falcons (although they don't take lance/missile cos of the primary weapon thing) are the inaccurate guns. Wave Serpent and Wraithlord are the accurate ones and so these are best to carry the anti-tank.
I play a footslogging list and it's sorta hard to get a serpent in there. i sorta need ant tank too, i have a wraithlord and 2 falcons but nothing else much to threat enemy tanks.
