    Singing Spear?

could someone please explain how to use the singing spear. I had a look in the special rules section of the rules and applied the rules for the witchblade, is that right? Also it is a ranged weapon so can you use it to shoot and then use it in an assault too. I read somewhere that it was very effective against vehicles but I failed miserably. Can someone just explain the steps of attacking a vehicle with the singing spear. Cheers

The rules are found in the new eldar codex.

Yes, you may shoot it, and then use it in the assault phase (unlike third edition where you could do only one of them).

As for vehicles, they now have a listed AP, so they don't suffer from the arguement of no ap listed being ap- or not.

All in all, they are very effective vs vehicles for the reasons detailed in the codex, namely their high strength.
    My armies:
16,000+ of Eldar (only need flyers)
    7,000+ of Nids (want heirophant)
6,000+ of Space Marines (need rever titan)
4,400+ of Cygnar (all models for the faction)
    1,500+ of Legion (just started)

As Tarzen said, rules for shooting it are in the codex, in combat it counts as a witchblade, as per the 40K rule book
Everything you have been told is a lie!

haha yeah, had a game last night where a troop of SM devastators did absolutely nothing against me. My friend was saying next time they will be deployed in a rhino and delievred somewhere more useful. If I could take them all out with my Farseer that would be something else!

well the sining spear counts as Str X where a witch blade triples strength.
its important cause a spear works on monoliths, a witch blade does not.

Aye, that baffled me when I read it.

Although the rules for the monolith are also a complete disaster when it comes to clarity...

Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.
