We have a new toy from Forge World; the Remora. Being a flyer, this unit has certain special rules which can be quite beneficial. Among them is that we come in after they move, they need [Link]'s to hit us(unless they have special racks, or are also flyers), and that terrain doesn't block LoS, making them ideal(IMO) for taking out the Bassies without having to rely upon Deep-Striking. And all enemy weapons firing at it have their range shortened by [Link]" and they can't be hit by barrage/ordinance at all.
Now, they also have a Stealth Field, which makes the maximum range they can be fired upon [Link] " which happens to be how far the weapons can fire. And the Creme de la Creme: It's a [Link] choice.
The downside: They cost [Link] points each(cheapest flyer IIRC), and are limited to a maximum of [Link] per squad.
What are your thought on it? What type of list would it be most effective against? Would it merit a spot in an all-comers list? And which units would it have the most affinity with?
For my answers: I think it would be effective against vehicles with large portions of AV 10, as well as GEq flanks is. In an all comers list? DEFINITELY! As far as I know, we don't have a definite way to deal with barrage weapons economically Now, I think we do. We can pop that 125 vehicle with ours, and even stand a chance to get it back in one piece!
The last one's a toughie. I'd say broadsides, Crisis Suits, and other size 2 units. I think it'll be useful to have a lot of size 2, as then the opponent will be unable to see your units regardless of what they do, as long as they're on the other side of the terrain. Coupled with the fact that Tau aren't very tough, I think it goes hand in hand. I'm going to miss my two devilfish though.

Home-Brewed Codex: Farsight Enclaves
I think this model looks soooooooooooooo cool.
where does one find the rules for flyers?
gonna proxy a squad of these to use as intercept units against Nids and drop troop melta/plasma troops i think.
- it's the second entry below the "big tankie thing".
And if the link doesn't work, just look on the Forgeworld site under "New Stuff!!" ... ... ...

My idea comes from the Advanced stab system rules in the new codex and I think a remote controlled XV88 drone would look different and awsome as well.
They would perform exactly as the ordinary XV88.

The stats for FW piranha are in imperial armour upgrades, tremoved all standard fliers rules from first post (watch copyrights please)
I dont see that the aircraft is that usefull due to its weaponry
