Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hey everyone, me and my bro are selling two of our scratch built Ork vehicles,
http://cgi.ebay.com/Custom-Ork-wartr...QQcmdZViewItem these took a goodly amount of man hours to build and paint. The paint job was done by my brother with brown, silver, white and a multitude of other colors. Peace out
I really doubt you're going to get any bidders...
Chuck Norris wouldn't stand a chance against Tana Umaga.
Agreed. The buggy is marginally ok, but the trukk leaves alot to be desired.
Lego wheels just dont do it for me!
I am going to buy those, then drop them on the floor, glue them up again in less than 2 minutes and repeat
then they will be truly orky vehicles!
oh and the trukk looks funny, it's more tanky than trukky
Create flames for a galaxy and it will be warm. Put a galaxy in flames and it will be warm for the rest of it's existence.
Here is the story, the wartrukk was made by my brother's friend in less than a night with only plasticard, he was too lazy to make tracks and he found his brothers legos...
The buggy looks fine, but the truck looks like it was built from wet cardboard and left to dry. They have been weathered nicely, but the truck needed a few more rivets and spiky bits to make it look orky. More rivets always make something look less like bits of cardboard stuck to a model, and more like something that some orks actually built.
(Like Mekboss Stingy always sez: if it won't hold together, hammer in some more screws.)
Like any other non-GW bits, Lego is fine to use, as long as it doesn't look like what it originally was once you have finished. Doesn't matter if it's Lego, model kits, hardware or the packaging from your iPod. As long as the finished product looks cool, anything goes.
In fact, both cars would also have been alright for rebels or renegades in a Mad Max type setting.
Just my 0.02 Imperial Credits worth.

Zapp: You see the killbots have a preset kill limit. Knowing their weakness, I sent wave after wave of my own men at them until they reached their limit and shut down.
