well really if you collect tyranids it is,be it Epic Armagedon Bfg or Warhammer 40K. Incedentally does anyone know when epic tyrands are due for re-release?
I just finished reading warriors of ultramar(cat rember who wrote his but he wrote nightbringer and strom of iron),and am now on page 176 of angels of darkness(wrote by Gav Thorpe).

Well the book(WoU) even though its really just fluff highlights lots of key things about tyranid stratergy, particarly in Bfg, and anyway, i would recoment it to and body that plays as tyranids or loses to them reguarly, heh that doesnt enclude ppl like me who lose regular as them.

Is just a good read and it keeps the pace.

READ IT !!!

I part way through reading Fire Warrior at the moment and the next book on my list is Warriors of Ultramar, definetly, since I am both a tyranid and ultramarine player (why I didn't get this book earlier bewilders me&#33 without spoiling anything, which hive fleet if any does the story follow? and which ultramarine charcters if any are mentioned, in large or minimal detail?

Thanks!

From the name I would take a wild guess that it's about the invasion of Macragge, when Hive fleet Behemoth nearly eradicated the Smurfs.

I should probably check it out as well. Might prove interesting...

It's actually not about the defense of Macragge.

No special characters from the Ultramarine army list are mentioned

I have it, loved the book too. I love tyranid wars.

I don't want to say who/what else is in it b/c it gives away some of the surprise. THere are some pleasant ones though.

As well as lots of mean nasty buggy ones of doom!
"Can you put that in a memo and title it '***** I already know!'"
~Sarge

Church: "Ok, so we're agreed? You first!"
Sarge: "Get on with it, Griff."
Griff: "I'd just like everyone to know: that I suck."
Church: "And?"
Griff: "And that I'm a girl..."
Church: "What else?"
Griff: "And I like ribbons in my hair, and I want to kiss all the boys."
Sarge: "This has to be the best surrender of all time."

Warriors of Ultramar is about a Tyranid attack on Tarsis Ultra and is actually a kind of sequel to Nightbringer... The main character is Uriel Ventris, Captain of the Fourth Company... Both books are exellent IMO...

Ill keep that in mind and get nightbringer aswel..... may be the stupidest and most obvious question ever but does Nightbringer have anything to do with the infamous c'tan god also called nightbringer, just checking here may be totally obvious but 'd like to know...

Yes it does... I don't want to give the story away but it most certainly does have something to do with the C'tan Nightbringer...
