The new Chaos Terminators can get 'Combi-Storm Bolters' (one shot for the alternative weapon). One of the options is a 'Combi-Plasma Pistol/Storm Bolter'.
I haven't faced a Chaos army in a while, but I'm starting to quiver at the thought of my Dracon & Incubi Retinue going toe-to-toe with Chaos Terminators with 4 plasma pistol shots... *gulp!*
Actually they are full on combi plasmas, making them even more deadly. your typicla termi squad will look something like this:
4x termis, 3x combi plasma, 1x heavy flamer
IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT!
I survived LO Chat thanks to: Karmoon, Rabbit, Process, Tossy and Meish.
Kill them in assault with your higher initiative and don't let them shoot you? You're not footslogging incubi are you? Or did you get the raider shot down? Forgive the bluntness, I'm kind of tiring of you're unnecessarily rude posts.Erm, yes... thankyou for ur input? Can you plz tell me how to take care of them in most scenarios now?
EDIT: More calmly. Being in a raider and thus having at least a 20" charge essentially makes you very safe from things like plasma guns if you use terrain to your advantage. Don't let your vehicles get into line of sight because anything will shoot them down. It won't matter that the terminators have power weapons in combat because your higher initiative (and punishers) should make short work of them. Be wary of overkilling though, because that can end up a whole lot worse than losing a couple of incubi to power weapons. If any dark eldar player's incubi are getting shot up by plasma they have made a mistake along the way (or their raider has been destroyed by something like indirect fire and such). If these terminators are deep striking and thus causing trouble, position your vehicles in such a way that deep striking near them has a good chance of making them scatter off the board or into impassable terrain, or at the very least, into assault range, to put them off.
Also, in the original post you never specifically asked for any such advice so your somewhat ungrateful and rude post afterwards was not called for. An ambiguous post such as this leaves the conversation open, so don't be surprised if someone goes off on a tangent and doesn't give you the exact reply that you want. If you want responses with how to fight enemy X, it would be a good idea to actually include the request in either the thread title or initial post.
