Well welcome to the nids! Anyway about your list.

Change the Tyrant to have sything talons instead of rending claws. TMC's dont need rending claws because they already get their benifits. An extra attack in close combat would server you better anyway.

I would get all my gaunts to be spinegaunts, exeption with the hormagaunts. Termagaunts and spinegaunts hardly ever get to shoot. Spinegaunts are 2 points cheaper, it adds up really fast when you field 24-48 of them. For your hormagaunts, dont give them better armor saves, they dont need it. Almost always they will never get it from shooting, and wont pass them when in close combat. When you say that your guys have 2 sything talons each, you mean that they have one pair right?

Carnifex should have a Venom Cannon and BS3. If you want an all out close combat Carnifex I would sugest that you look into getting a Old One Eye.

Other than that it looks pretty good. What armies do you expect to fight the most?

--- As Marneus said, very little point in RenClw. I'd give it ToxSac and EnhSen as well.

Elites:3 nid warriors 1 with venom cannon all with +1ws+1initiative and extended carapace oh yea and they got scything talons 2 each cept the one with venom cannon
--- What's the secondary mandatory Bioweapon on the VC Warrior, ScyTal?

CC Warriors should be equipped with ST + RenClw, to make them more efficient. If You already have them with 2x ScyTal, then add ToxSac.

Remember that the VC is pretty unlikely to hit, unless You get them EnhSen, which will be wasted on the CC Warriors.

16 termagaunts fleshborers, 16 termagaunts fleshborers, 16 termagaunts spinefists.
--- Well... I'd stick either with all Termagaunts or all Spinegaunts. Not very effective fielding different Shootygaunt species.

    Hive Nodes?

3x 16 hormagaunts +1 ws and +1 initiative extended carapace 2 scything talons each
--- ScyTal is enough. Notice Scythig Talons, Rending Claws, Lash Whips and Spinefists are already plural? That means that whenever You say ScyTal (or RC/LW/SF), everyone knows that's a pair of them.

2x ScyTal is two pairs of ScyTal, just as You already said on the Warriors.

I'd also recommend ditching the ExtCar on these.

    Hive Nodes?

You have too few Synapse in this swarm, giving Hive Nodes to the Gaunts would help keeping them in line when they're outside Synapse.

    Carnifrex cc equpped
--- Carnifexes are too slow to be purely CC, I'd rather field ST + VC.

If You play on small tables, or with a suicidal enemy who does his best to meet You in CC, only then might I even consider a CC 'Fex or Old One Eye.

If enemy Barrage weapons get the better of You, then counter them with Your own! 3 Biovores with Poison and Bio-Acid will take care of most enemy artillery and troops.

Against Your IG friend and Orks (and other non-SM/CSM/Necron armies) I'd suggest giving Poison mines to all the Biovores, and maybe 1 or 2 BioAcid just in case of heavier vehicles.

Against Grey Knights and SM/CSM/Necron in general, BioAcid to all 'Vores, and then 1-2 Poison, just in case of high-T models.

Hey I'm new to the forum, but I;ve been playing with Nids for over a year now so I can give you some advice.

Perhaps you could look for a winged Hive Tyrant, it's fast and deadly and you're opponents will know this and stay the hell away from it.

Mine once slished through 40 necron warriors and a necron lord aided by a second Hive Tyrant, a Carnifex and Old One Eye ( he also wrecked two monoliths)

Winged tyrants are awesome beasts! mine has only died once.... and that was mainly due to 3 armies combined firepower (might have been killed by the nightbringer.... not sure)... however my non winged tyrant has died a few times.... orks took it down, BA honour took it down and its been shot alot too....
