Welcome to Librarium Online!
Okay, on the matter of my HQ:
Winged Tyrant-2 Scything Claws,Toxic,Adrenal Glands for INI/WS,Ext Carapace
Q) Can I sue Adrenal glands for WS, AND INI?
Reaver Warriors(To Move with Hive Tyrant)
5 Winged Warriors with Scything Claws, Toxic,Adrenal(X2),Carapace,Bio Plasma,Rendering Claws
Q)Again, same question?
Shredder WarriorsCheap source of wouds+attacks+Intimidation)
6 Warriors,Adrenal,Toxic,Scything(x2), Carapace
Q)Is this a good set up, is Leaping worth the cost for these guys?
TroopsI'm getting two of the Battle force...Is mucho cheaper like that)
Q) Are Stealers worth the points? Is there a way to use the sprues I get to convert the Termagaunts into Hormagaunts? SHould I split them into smaller groups? Should I get rid of some of them to tweak the Hormagaunts?
BIG Q: Hormagaunts get Fleet of Claw, and the **(edited for rules of forum)assault move, with leaping is that double the ** assault move? If so..I obviously need ot tweak the Hormagaunts!
Reaver WarriorsExcuse for more Warriors)
Winged,Toxin,Carapace,Scythiung Talons(2),Bioplasma, INI/WS Adrenaline
Q)Again, am I able to take Adrenal glands for both the INI/WS since they are two different point costs?
Destroyer WarriorsLove the Venom Cannons)
Venom Cannons(all),Scything Talons, Carapace, EnhSenses,Toxin
Q)Would I get more Bang for my buck, what with the higher STR from a Carnifex with Venom Cannons?
Q) Is a CC Carnifex worth it? Or another few Winged Assault Warriors for the speed? Or another Winged Tyrant for the HQ for Anti Armor ability?
It's a 2000 Point list, and I still have about 250 Points to go...I WANT to throw in a carnifex, after all..they are 'Nids! But should I?Well those are the most relevant questions I wanna ask before I go out and buy bunch of the Stuff...few more quick questions?
Q)Can a Carnifex with two Venom Cannons shoot them both in one turn?
Q)Lictors seem a little...weak and easy to kill to me, are they worht the points?
Q)Again..stealers or gaunts?
Q) On foot Tyrant with Bodyguard..better? Or worse?
Q) Zoanthrope/Biovres instead of Warriors/Carnifex?
Q) Ravenors instead of Winged Warriors?
Well I thank you for whatever comments or answers I get, if any of you would ratehr message me int he EMailt hing than post ont he forum lol, cause i asked alot of questuions...I would appreciate it. Well thanks!
Okay then I'll give a shot answering your questions... here it goes!Yes I believe that you can use them both as long as you pay for both and not just one.Q) Can I sue Adrenal glands for WS, AND INI?Yes I would get leaping or winged for cc warriors, however I would use a pair of scything talons and rending claws, just for that bit extra power. Biomorphs seem good, carapace is a must for warriors glad to see you've taken this onboard!Q)Is this a good set up, is Leaping worth the cost for these guys?Get some hive nodes in there, they arent definetly worth the points. Loosing synapse is not really important if they have hive node as they are unlikely to fail the Ld test now!32 Termagaunts
32 HormagauntsAgainst armies like marines, chaos, necrons and any army with alot of good armour save troops, genestealers are definetly worth the points. However upgraded genestealers are rarely worth the points unless your playing jungle/city fight (eg loads of cover) or a seeding swarm army. I always use stealers against a good save, non mobing army. Genestealers are still effective against horde type armies with poor saves its just that it is much more points effecient to get another squad of horms or a biovore. Are Stealers worth the points?Gaunt models have all the same bodies its the arms that are interchangable, I think this is what you mean....Is there a way to use the sprues I get to convert the Termagaunts into Hormagaunts?Totally up to you, I generally use 32 or 24 squad broods depending on the number of points. It also saves on hive node upgrades to have large broods other several small ones.SHould I split them into smaller groups?Hormagaunts are pretty good by themselves without any upgrades, but It really depends on what army your facing. There are players who prefer to use fewer souped up gaunts than many non souped up ones. For me I prefer numbers I rarely would upgrade gaunts unless player tough hording armies.... like orks for example.Should I get rid of some of them to tweak the Hormagaunts?Yes your right hormagaunts get fleet of claw and can assault with the leaping rule (check tyranid codex) making them move a maximum of 24" which is very fast.Hormagaunts get Fleet of Claw, and the **(edited for rules of forum)assault move, with leaping is that double the ** assault move? If so..I obviously need ot tweak the Hormagaunts!Yes but carnifexs arent synaptic... I use my vcannon warriors when Im also using biovores to keep them with synapse and shoot their vcannons at range. Primarily vcannons are used to stun or destroy weapons on tanks from afar. Carnifexs are much more useful at stunning vehicles because of their uber high str. I would use the carnifex, unless facing an army with alot of low armoured vehicles.Would I get more Bang for my buck, what with the higher STR from a Carnifex with Venom Cannons? The only cc carnifex worth the points, IMO, is the OOE because carnifex are too slow to get into the combat so the ranged weapon makes it more effective. Winged warriors are nice but you already have a warrior assault squad... up to you on what you take here, I think I would get a shooty warrior squad and an assaulty one, to keep gaunts in synapse. 2 Winged tyrants? seems too much get another tyrant but give the other a vcannon and 2 tyrant guard, he'll be alot slower than the winged one but significantly more difficult to kill and has an impressive ranged weapon! Is a CC Carnifex worth it? Or another few Winged Assault Warriors for the speed? Or another Winged Tyrant for the HQ for Anti Armor ability?nope, give it talons and a vcannon)Can a Carnifex with two Venom Cannons shoot them both in one turn?In groups theyre very effective, by themselves they are poor. Lictors are used as a distraction to the main force or to silence those devastator squads at the rear of enemy lines without having to travel through the entire army. Lictors are pretty random in terms of goodness, very hit or miss.Lictors seem a little...weak and easy to kill to me, are they worht the points?Depends on opponent, I field 24 genestealers usually, sometimes 36 if theres some good terrain and Im facing necrons.Again..stealers or gaunts? Not as fast to get into combat... but still lethal and much more survivable also boasts a ranged weapon, usually, try using 2. Most people do in 2000pts battles. On foot Tyrant with Bodyguard..better? Or worse?Depends on what army your facing, try finding some threads I think there has been discussions on what people prefer on these subjects. Basically though biovores good range and are good at people with 4+ saves or 5+ or 6+. Zoanthorpes are good at 3+ and 2+ but their range is poor, very good str! Warriors good for synapse but not a particularly good heavy support option unless there are alot of low armoured vehicles (best used alongside biovores to keep them in synapse) Carnifex all round goodness best thing at taking down a tank in cc and stunning it with vcannon, but isnt good when singled out in combat by large squads, however very survivable.Zoanthrope/Biovres instead of Warriors/Carnifex?No exp. with ravenors bu Id go for the warriors for the synapse upgrade, there should be a post on this forum describing the advantages of both, in length.Q) Ravenors instead of Winged Warriors?
hope I was help, happy posting!

-- You can get ur 8 hormys in your squad package, and you can throw Spine Fists (on the extra mutation sprue) on your termys to make them Spinegaunts.. basically hormagaunts but with a little range and different attack stats. Is there a way to use the sprues I get to convert the Termagaunts into Hormagaunts?
I would stick to at least one squad of Termys and two squads of hormies, with 1 squad of 'stealers.
