so this is whats gonna happen:
1500 three way battle between: nids(me) Tau and SM
My army is:
Hive Tyrant, 2 guards extcar, enhsens, adrnglands WS/I, toxsacs, VC, sything talons
24 Stealers toxsacs
22 Hormagaunts Hive Node
24 Termagants Hive Node
4 ripper swarms (not sure whether to take these guys)
3warriors: VC barbed strangler and deathspitter, enhsens, extcar, sything talons
Old One Eye (nothing else needs to be said )
3 Raveners with sything talons and rending claws

Besides, most 'Stealer kills should be RenClw kills, so rather have more 'Stealers than stronger ones. Or, if You can't field more 'Stealers, field more Gaunts to make sure You can tie up the enemy and ensure the 'Stealers You have get into combat without too many casualties.--- Solid.22 Hormagaunts Hive Node

Quite frankly, don't waste the points on the BStrangler. It's a waste on Warriors. Weak (S2!! It would really be more efficient if You exchange it with DSpitter and field them as Elites. Even if You need to rip off the already glued BStrangler.--- I prefer ranged 'Fexes, but whatever rocks Your boat. =)Old One Eye (nothing else needs to be said )--- I'd get more, convert from plastic Gaunts if You need'em cheaper. All You need is a box of Gaunts and some greenstuff/modelling putty. And flying stands, of course.8 Gargs--- Fast, fragile spooks. all I would add is get a biovore or 3 with poison spores for the tau they slaughter firewarriors and the kroot shoud die just as easily, just dont fire the spores at the marines unless there bio acid.
Theres no real need for rippers in this battle, i would just use rippers to hold up anything that would be threatening to you in cc but in tau..... noway and marines die easy to stealers. The only time I would use rippers is against things you are worried about in cc, some things in dark eldar army, large horde of orks or if some is going to try and use something to slow me down i assault them with the rippers to like scarabs.... i kinda like the idea of ripper scarab combats though.... :lol: Dont use the lictor as the tau player will most likely have sensor spines and this means that your lictor will not be able to ambush, but he might not be using sensor spines that is
As Uzi says no need to upgrade the stealers, rending claw deaths are what your aiming for.
Take the BarbedS off the warriors and stick a vcannon on their instead, stranglers are only ever good on a carnifex (and the barbed heirdule thing) and a vcannon is still better.
Definetly use OOE he can soak up the rail gun shots, he may not get into combat but if the hammerhead shoots at OOE that means it wont be shooting submunition at the gaunts! or focus shots at your HT.
Get more gargs, they suck in small groups, and keep your ravenor in cover until they can pounce on the marines.
If I were playing this battle I would charge towards the marines and shoot spores and vcannon shots at the tau, if you can beat the marines in combat while you shoot your spores and vcannon shots into the tau ranks then you may still be able beat the tau. Remember they are going to be fighting each other at the same time, maybe you could lay low while and watch them crippe each others heavy support.

Also, tie up the tau with your Lictor, since they stink at CC, while the rest of your force goes after the SM.
B/c the tau will probably see you going for the SM, and take pot shots at you, but try and help you blow away the SM, since you are more of a CC army, hoping that you will probalby be too weak from theSM fight afterwards to do much. Make him think twice with that lictor though .
