Welcome to Librarium Online!
Well I'm a pretty new player here and I was wondering if you have any tricks i could try with mech eldar. i include bikes in my list and i use them as bait, rapid fire, jump, they run forward or jump out of whatever transport they have and i double bladestorm with the dire avengers. Fire Prism or falcon issue, I've had success with both and i was wondering if anyone has tricks with them too. Prism i think is a better anti tank vehicle while falcons are like a utillity vehicle.

Just remember that prisms aren't generally as durable as a falcon. The reason being that once they lose their prism cannon all they're good for is tank shocking, being a scoring unit and shooting with the catapaults.
While there is only a 1 in 9 chance of getting a destroyed/immobilized result with holofields, there is a 5 in 36 chance of weapon destroyed on top of that. So a prism has a 1/4 chance of getting a result that spoils the craft every glance it takes.
Of course prisms are better against tanks, and I think they're our only anti tank weapon that can hit at over the not so long 36".
I'm surprised... Wasn't that you proposing a list full of EMLs a few hours ago ???
But you never put a missile launcher or bright lance on a falcon do you.
Because then you can't fire all your weapons and still move 7-12" (to claim the skimmers moving fast rule).
I say take both, Falcon /w the works and 2 naked Fire Prisms, of course it burns up all 3 heavy slots (if you don't like it I support the falcon).
Oh, it was me that made an ass of myself.
I missed that line.I think they're our only anti tank weapon that can hit at over the not so long 36".
You give holofields and spirit stones to keep falcons and fire prisms resiliant, but I guess if you're using two prisms you could give just give one of them these upgrades and keep the other hidden away, the idea is the weaker one only keeps line of sight to the armoured one giving it the focus fire options, you save a few points by doing so.
Depending on the falcon set-up you can give it a small squad of aspect warriors to support it's role. For example, if you falcon is armed with a shuriken cannon under-mount, scatter laser and pulse laser one would expect its purpose is to kill infantry, in which as a small squad of Direavenegers with an exarch armed with bladestorm and duel shuriken catapults will increase the kill potential. If the Falcon is armed with a shuriken cannon under-mount, starcannon and pulse laser, a small squad of fire dragons can aid in the death of heavy infantry. The advantage of this is increased firepower, they can shoot at separate targets if need be and you have two scoring units moving very fast for some last turn objective rushes.
The same method can be applied to wave serpant mounted troopers, so twin-linked scatter lasers and shuriken cannon under-mount when carrying Direavengers for example. However keep note that the cost is roughly the same as the falcon example mentioned above and the firepower is roughly the same, only difference it that the transport isn't scoring. Wave serpants also are a good candidate for brightlances should you be lacking anti-tank capabilities.
For your bikes, consider giving them a warlock with a singing spear and destuctor. Bikes themselves arn't that amazing at shooting, but with a warlock set-up like this you can hit and run vehicles with little threat to your bikes (remember they can hide away in the assault phase) and you have a heavy flamer which will decimate lighter infantry and threaten even heavy infantry. Combine these guys with warp spiders, Farseers with Doom and Eldritch Storm and Heavy artiller platforms and you've suddenly got an army that doesn't need to reveal themselves to your opponent to deal damage to them.
Put D cannons on top of an objective and watch them line up to die. Put a squad of Reapers at both ends of your line, only covering the approach angles to the cannons. One squad of Rangers just to tie up a corner. A squad of infiltrating scorps for which ever squad of reapers has the closest threating HTH troops. Then run the Avatar to one group of reapers and your wraithlord to the other squad. HTH combined with fire power.
I take naked Fireprisms cause they strike terror into my enemies and nothing beats seeing a MEQ when I lay down a st6 ap3 large blast template which is twin linked. lol
All in all if I could give one tip to Mech. Eldar players I would say to make sure that you don't deploy your Dire Avengers in front of your skimmer to gain a few inches! I know that is a total noob thing to do, but seriously don't do it... if I hear of someone doing it I will force you to watch me make out with your mum, or maybe just pummel you.
