Welcome to Librarium Online!
So I am contemplating the make-up of my new ork force and it dawns on me that I have always loved the modeling and fluff of the squig. (The idea is just so fun!) After noting the new effect of the attack squig and remembering that you could take up to three before, I have a feeling that a new era will be dawning with a PK wielding nob that has three of the devilish little monsters on a leash! I am not sure if there will still be the opportunity to field multiple squigs on a single model, but if so...0:*angelic voices fill the room with a melodious chorus of WOOT!*0:
I personally am going to make a mobile 'Ardboyz squad with a PK wielding nob in a trukk. Throw a few of the little buggers at his feet to up his attacks, and I got boyz that can last while the nob dishes out some serious orky punishment.
Of course, even if you can only take ONE squig, I think there will be a huge influx of squig wielding models.
I look forward to hearing all of your thoughts on this.
Although only 1 attack squig will ever grant you the attack bonus, I do think it would be rather cool to have an army that's fond of the little buggers. You could have each of your nobz have a pet squig to represent their bosspoles (a little nip in the arse will get any ork to follow his nob!).
I plan on modeling my "attack squig" on my warbosses base. I figure I'm going to use a terminator size base and put the warboss as far back as possible. Then have his little pet squig chained to him with the warbosses axe pointing over top of him. I do agree, your going to see a lot of ork players using squigs.

Squigs are super cool.
you should totally make a bunch of Bikers riding on big Squigs though.
But yeah, bosspole would be the best way to have Squigs on leaders, as with the rules you can only have a maximum of 2 attack Squigs, and that's on your Big Mek and Warboss.
Maybe if you took Gretchin horde you could, for a start, have the Squig hounds, and you could have a few Gretchin themselves riding on the things.
God Squigs are cute.
