Welcome to Librarium Online!
I have a battle today against Necrons and Tyranids at 120 noon today (GMT +10). The only units I can use are Eldrad, My Warlock w/ Singing Spear, and my Dire Avengers (10 DA's including Exarch with Diresword and Shurikan Pistol).
The mission is basically a last stand, where you are grossly outnumbered and you see how much damage you can do before dying. Both the Necron and Nid armies will be in apocalyptic numbers (but not using Apocalypse rules) and using pretty much every model available. The force organisation chart has been dissolved so that it dosn't matter how many HQ's someone has, minimum squad sizes, or "that has to be attached". It's all against a few. Also, because we're outnumbered we can take every legal upgrade available.
The allies I might have are:
Tau: Hammerhead, Fire Warrior squad (about 10 models), Broadside battlesuit, 2x Gun Drones.
Space Marines: 30 Marines (including 4 ML's), Vindicator, Whirlwind, Dreadnought with ML and TLLC, 5 Terminatirs with Powerfists and Storm Bolters.
Grey Knight Daemonhunters: 11 Grey knights (2x incinerators), 2x Justicars, Grand Master with Psycannon.
The table is 3' X 5' and will probably be terrain heavy all over. Our teams deploy on opposite sides of the table.
Any hints that can be given before I leave about general tactics for myself and how to make the most of my allies will be appreciated.
Hmm... that's a toughie. General tactics? Hide behind the space marines!
Personally I don't think there is much you can do - use eldrad to mind war targets, storm a unit etc. Are you allowed to use psychic powers on friendly, allied models? If so use it to guide some of the other units and play a support role for your team. Then when things get close bladestorm them and hope for the best.

None of the allies showed up, but neither did the necrons player until much later. The Nid player decided to TRY to equal my points and put on a fully kitted out Hive Tyrant, Carnifex, 2X genestealer squad + Broodlord for one, and a hormagants squad. I'll write up a battle report later on, but long story short, he was left with the Tyrant with 1 wound that had somhow survived through several assault phases. The Nid's player now has a new motto: "Destroy Eldrad at all costs"
I consider it a victory.
