Hey I m thinking bout collecting orks due to my tyranids aren't doing any thing and I haven't got enough motivation to paint them.
I seem to have enough motivation to paint my Orcs and Goblin army and figured if I can paint Orcs and Gobbos, But not my 'nids, why dont i try painting 40k Orks and see if their tactics are more my style.
Is it a good idea?????
Stupid people do stupid things
Smart people outsmart each other
And I... Play guitar and write folk songs
Well, this is like asking "Do i like hamburgers?"... we can't answer that, only you can. Orks are a Horde army, and if you are tired of painting perhaps you should try a Space Marine army or some other "elite" army with fewer models.
Regarding tactics Orks are pretty straight forward, or they can be if you choose the right army. I love my Orks just because of this, and if I feel like a challenge I can always play my Grot Liberation Army with a Big Mek and only grots or grot piloted machines.
Try it out with proxy models a few times and see how you like it, the new codex should be out in a week if you haven't downloadet it already.
