    War Walkers

    OKay so don't know much about eldar, but does the war walker still get energy feild, or was that taken away by the new codex?

    While the description of war walkers talks about energy fields, in game terms simply translates into the walkers not counting as open-topped. Strength 9+ hits affect them normally.

    I thought it was odd in the new codex that they didn't actually have holofields as a wargear option, but I guess not having them count as open-topped does make them a little bit more survivable than, say, a snotling carrying a basket of eggs.

    All that said, I still have 4 of them!
