Welcome to Librarium Online!
are eldar snipers the best ? i,ve been told by a few peeps they are ive recently been collecting imperial gaurd but the armor is too rubish and then i went to space marines (soz bout da spelling) and hade a vidicar asacin and havent used it
COULD I USE IT WID ELDAR :s
You could possibly have an alliance type army that uses both imperial guard and alaitoc path finders. Or make an army with space marines with an allied attachment of alaitoc path finders. They are definitely the best snipers in the game, after the vindicair that is. The vindicair is better because it can single out independent characters. Read the craftworld codex and see what you think. The fluff behind the path finders would support them fighting with imperial guard or space marines, I think.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
i hav'nt realy got lots ov money and would like cheap models are eldar snipers cheap ?( i am prety new to the game ) i think its two much money for models but it can be quite fun tho.
If you want to use Eldar Aspect Warriors then you will have to keep in mind that they are all (i think) sold in blisters and become more expensive than the usual guardian rate of number of models/price.
Quality is never cheap, the way i see it, GW preaty much makes the conection between points cost and money cost at the same level, they just rationalize it by making some of the models in metal.

Comparing to other eldar models sold (except the seer council), snipers are pretty cheap, moneywise to pointwise.
Eldar do have the best snipers, both game wise, and money wise. A blister for almost ten dollars comes with three, so making a squad of nine is pretty easy, considering how much other race's snipers cost in comparison. Also, if you want Snipers, Pathfinders are THE way to go. They're good enough with thier rifles to hunt terminators, and are even harder to kill in cover then normal Rangers.

Soup's up, bitches!
the answer to the sniper question is NO the codex assasins has been replaced by the deamon & whitch hunters codexes in which the assasins are a part of the army & i do believe that the new imp guard codex doesnt allow for assasins to be used(someone please correct me if im wrong been a while since i had a look at it)
on the money side of things the company DOES equate cost with effect on the game cause lest face it addadon doesnt cost that much to make so why the hefty price tag for him & all the other special charicters, its the effect that these models have on the game that determines their price more than anything else (& you really dont want to know how much these models really cost to cast)
WARMASTER of the SCHOLA PROGENIUM Alnwick Chapter (soon to be the world)
like pandora said if you want snipers go alaitoc and use lots of rangers and pathfinders. they are awesome and you get to use the disruption table b4 the game even starts. so you could kill an enemy unit b4 the game even starts. line of site and distance doesnt mater so you can hit anything.
