Has anybody seen this new model. Its awesome. Dakka Dakka has a couple pictures. I dont care what it does but I will buy a couple to just add to my army.
The tau sniper does have a mini-railgun. Though it is much weaker, it still does pack a puch. Also tau players will be able to field fire warriors with one burst cannon in their squad.
Thats all I have heard.
i think it looks stupid i mean those little whimpy (no offense) tau arent strong enough to hold that big looking thing i mean it looks like it'd be heavier than an imperial missile launcher
I've seen a pic of a Tau dude with a big gun last week or so, and to be honest I don't like the model. The way he's holding it looks unnatural, I refuse to believe he can lift something of that size that way.
Sweet looking model. I don't really have a gripe over the size of the weapon or the guy holding it, I mean I assume the Tau would use alloys and things that are strong and really light. And because the weapon is a Railgun, the recoil would basically be zero... no exploding chemical propellants to give the weapon a backwards momentum to the projectile. It's just whipped out the front by magnetic propulsion.
I dont have any problems with the weight of the gun in their hands. The same goes for the rest of the weapons they have. We have no idea as to what material those things are made out of.
Yeah I have heard that they were str 6 ap 3 and would be upgrades for a pathfinder team. I dont know if I heard it here or at dakka dakka but I understand they are going to let Tau firewarrior troops have an upgrade for a burst cannon in the squad. This maybe just rumor but sounds kinda cool.
finally, a group of weapons specialized in anti-marines, needed that
