    Harlequins - Transport or footslog?

Would it be better to simply take a 10 man squad on foot, with a Shadowseer for Veil of Tears, or to put 6 into a Falcon Grav Tank with a Troupe Master for more attacks per model?

I would say it depends on what type of army your running.

I personaly usualy like to footslog then just becuase it annoys people not being able to shoot them

but if your going for a mech army, by all means use a falcon

I usually start with my 2 squads of Harlequins footslogging, but they are 6 man strong so my Falcons can sweep in and be an emergency taxi should the need rise. Also, a 10 man squad costs 210 without any weaponry - quite much for one unit which only protection is T 3, a 5++ and the Veil.

Definitely, 6 Harlies incl. Shadowseer, all with kisses, in a Falcon.
In this way, the Harlies can pick their target rather unhindered.

    "It depends"

a 10 man foot slogging squad is the optimum when you hit, but if your opponent has mobile firepower, eg:
Vypers, jetbikes, piranha, XV8, XV25, Fire warriors in a fish, Marines/CSM in a rhino, SOB in a rhino, serephim, destroyers, lord with VOT, boyz in Trucks, etc etc that he can dedicate to killing them then they will not get there

6 in a falcon tend to sufer the ignomy of lossing to attrition eventually

just a small question: it's not possible to charge out of a falcon, is it? then why would you want to give them a transport, maybe i'm missing something...

    Yup!

Falcons are really hard to kill once you deck them properly and the general plan is: move up the falcon and hope your adversary isn't too lucky in his hits. Then the following turn you disembark, move, run and assault, while your falcon moves somewhere else, or maybe tankshocks something! =)

the key point is you can not assault out a falcon IF IT MOVED

I say footslog them every single time, they have enough ability to stay alive on their own so they don't really need the transport.

    Ok

This is largely my personal opinion but I play my two friends, Dark Angels and Demonhunters on a regular basis...I have a six man squad of harlies, with a shadowseer and a troupe master...and I recently added a warlock with enhance...which makes them attack at WS6 on the charge...
Usually they clear there entire kill zone. I have them footslogging and hugging cover. I have a falcon incase when one gets smoked I want to taxi them, but the need never really arose. They die to attrition yes, but last time I played I smoked a ten man squad of scouts with sniper rifles, a landspeeder tornado and 5 spacemarines before 10 more marines and a chaplain ended my reign of terror. needless to say if you compare points its a significant margin...oh the chaplian died in counter charge.

P.S im fairly new at the game, if giving a warlock with enhance to harlies is illegal or not aloud...then by all means ignore this lol cause I've been playing wrong
