Hey guys, just a quick question, can flash gitz in the new codex take all three of the kustom upgrades for their guns? or is it just limited to one upgrade?

They can take all three but i would not advise it since that would be 15 pnts per model personaly i would just get more dakka deleted

There is nothing indicated in the codex stopping you from taking all three. However, as blood bath indicates, your cost per model gets really pricey really fast. I would keep that in mind. Me personally, I think the extra shot is worth it, as its always nice to add an extra dice to a roll. I also like the idea of upgrading a weapons str, as it gives flexibility to the unit. Upgrading the str gives the flashgitz an extra bonus vs light armored vehicles. So you know have a unit to got after infantry and vehicles, even space marine dreads are at risk.
Is the last upgrade worth it? I'm not sold on it personally. As they already have a variable AP, and having essentially a 50% chance of ignoring MEQ armor, I don't know if you need much more. Just something to keep in mind is their role. Are you playing on using Zogwart to deepstrike them across the board and shoot up a terminator squad? Then you probably want the extra AP, but your really risking your unit there. However, do you want them to more support your boy mobs and gun down those pesky lascannon-plasma gun squads? Then I would just take the extra shot, and str if you have it... as wounding marines on 2+ is nice...

hey guys, thanks for clearing things up for me. Your right about the cost spiraling away, by the time u take the kustom upgrades and add a doc on average each model is worth the same as a termie, maybe even more.
So taking into account this cost, what role do you see flash gitz taking on? anti armoured foot troops such as marines? even with 10 shots from a 5 man squad on average u may only kill 3 marines if you are very lucky with the ap roll. against horde armies it would be the same story due to their low BS. It seems to me they would have to be very very lucky to recover their points cost.
Granted they are pretty tough to kill with 2 wounds and FnP from the doc, but they still seem somewhat of an anomaly to me. If anyone could shed some light on this matter it would be greatly appreciated!
