Has anybody ever though about the fact that if wraiths were one point less you could use one in a 500 point game?
This is probably just a coincidence, but is it? What if GW tested 500 point games with wraiths and they were just too good? So they just tossed an extra point onto their cost. Too be honest, XX1 points is a weird number of points in my opinion.

Necrons don't do very well in 500 point games to begin with...
So... if I gave some daemons a matte paint-job, would they be "Matte Daemons?"
Necron Tactica: Flying Circus
That one point is the bane of my Necron existance. If it wasnt for it then i could have 4 in Kill team, and that would be awesome. And as you said, one in a legal 500pt list. Also lists for 400pt combat patrol would be nicer i think. Stupid point...
But do you think it's intentional?
Im not sure.. its a fairly old Dex, so probably not. I dont think they thought much through back then, just did the points to match stats and abilities.
Yeah but 41 is just an odd number, why not just 40 or even 42(perferably 40)

1K - yeah, 750 well, still OK, 500 - noooo! 1pts - too odd to be there by an accident...
