The rules for bases on models are pretty simple; equal or greater to the models original base size. Here's the question though, well 2 of them really.
1. Do jetbikes and vypers need bases to play?
2. What size flying bases do they need?
I'm assuming the Vyper is the large flying base, but is it legal for the jetbikes to use the smaller sized flying bases?
Bases on jetbikes and vypers are fairly essential, especially when working out assaults etc. As for the sizes I believe that the both have the standard flying base as, well, standard.

Actually,it's a fair question. You see, by tournament rules I believe a model must be mounted on the same sized base it was packaged with. Jetbikes, if I recall correctly, seem to come with different sized flying bases sometimes. I'm not exactly sure what the answer is though. Meh.
Jetbikes used to come on the small hexagonal flying bases but (despite what it shows in the Eldar codex!) they now all come with the larger flying bases.
I'm pretty sure the that at most big tournaments, such as the UK Grand Tournament, large flying bases are what will be expected. Best idea however is to ask in advance if possible, thats what I try to do 8Y
vypers re vehicles, hence the base rule is not necessary, to establish combat it mut bein contact with the vehicle (in fact arguably the base makes this impossible)
Jetbikes are not vehicles and require bases.
as fuzy wumpus said, the rule is they must eb mounted on the base they came with or a larger base. Older bike models came withthe hex bases, as an intrim some came with the current small flying bases, but the current version is the larger flying base. Arguably therefore it would be legal to turn up with any flying base on there assuming you atest that that was the base that came with the model
A little thought would suggest mounting them all on larger flying bases (this is certainly what I do and it has its advantages, most jetbikes are not really that good at combat so you want to avoid it hence the size of the base is irelevent there, but the larger base means you are beter protected against template weapons)
I would whole heartedly recomend checking the issue with organisers of official games before hand, it is not unknown, particularly in tourneys, for illegal models to be removed
Everything you have been told is a lie!
I recently re-mounted all my wraithguard on the larger 40mm bases as I was tired of them falling over all the time. Not only does it look way better, it gives me that extra 1/2" advantage that wins every game for me as a result. 8X
Most people I play against just tell me how better they look on the larger bases. I've never had a tourney organiser tell me my wraithguard are illegal. If I did...I'd probably ask for my money back, after showing him the section in the rulebook where it talks about base size.
I also have all my Ork killa kans on dred bases.
