Hi, I recently returned to 40k after quitting for, I think, about 2 years. I used to have a Chaos/LatD army, but wanted to start something new (afaik LatD are nonexistant now under the new Chaos codex, and besides I wouldn't mind something different).
I took a look at Dark Eldar and decided that their brutal style of play, and the challenge involved, would be fun to play. And I liked their fluff. But we'll they be updated soon? Is it worth starting an army now?
Thanks for any replies,
There is a dark eldar update (new codex and models) which should be out at some piont near the end of this year or the start of the new year. Added to that there is the new rule book version being released this summer - so I would hold out and wait for a little while longer (gives you more time to save up )

We're set for a new codex in early-mid 2009 by latest rumors, so it's probably worth holding off for a year or so.
