    The spike rifle and strangle web... are they legal in tournaments and such?

    You would need to check with your tournament organizer but in general, no they are not.

    I highly doubt that. I think they were from the 2nd addition, when gaunts were called "Hunter-Killers" correct? Also, im pretty sure they were very strong compared to the fleshborer nowadays.

    You can have the weapons in kill team though cant you? There was a chapter approved a while ago in a white dwarf, and you could take them in kill team for so many points for every 3rd model or something like that.

    The Australian GW site has rules for both weapons in 4th ed: Games Workshop Australia - Warhammer 40,000.

    As has been said, like essentialy every non-standard item in 40k (WD, FW, etc.) they are not going to be allowed at the vast, vast majority of tournaments.

    They are also on the UK GW site.

    As others have said, they are technically legal, but most tournaments are probably not going to let you use them. The rules that are up are from 3rd ecition and since they are still up, they are still chapter approved, but pretty shakily. I wouldn't plan on using them except in friendly games.
