so wuts my best bet against a player using 130 boys?
-and no nurgle marines
What armies do you play is the question. Blast templates, ordinance templates or assault cannon equivalents. Make sure you keep away from him at all times. Slaanesh marked chaos marines or big squads of hormagaunts are good too.

Yeah, we're going to need to know what army/armies you play.
Since you mentioned Nurgle, I'm going to assume you play as Chaos? Chaos can have a little trouble against Orks, since Orks can often match them in CC power. It's all a matter of knowing where to attack, and with what.
If your opponent has burna boyz, you need to keep your troops out of CC with them, since their burnas are considered power weapons, as long as they didn't shoot with them that same turn.
Since there's 130 orks, I assume he's using them on foot, rather than in trukks. If you're Chaos, you have the best anti-footslogging weapon in the game on your side: lash. Use this to push away your opponent's units, and just keep firing on them as best you can. If he's using trukks, then shoot them down before they reach you.
Obliterators and lascannons work great for taking out heavy vehicles, and heavy bolters and assault cannons are good for destroying troops and light vehicles. As mentioned earlier, ordnance also works very well against large groups.
Although it can be difficult, unless you have no other viable targets, you might want to ignore the smaller, less important units as long as you can. Rokkit buggies, units of big guns and tiny 5 man squads are annoying, and easy to squish, but that's what your opponent wants you to do. He wants you to waste time on those tiny units, while his important units get into position. Concentrate on killing your opponent's large units of boyz first.
Don't expect your monstrous demon princes to be able to last long in close combat. Powerklaws cut through anything, and if they've got 20-30 boyz with them, it can take a long time before they're gone.
A good trick I've seen some opponents use against large groups of orks is to use fast moving troops (either in vehicles or jump packs or something to that effect) to assault the side of the mob opposite of where the nob is. This works even better if you assault 2 sides of the mob at once. You have your more expendable unit assault the side with the nob, and then you have the more powerful unit assault the opposite side. If you can get the powerklaw tied up on one side, and a demon prince assaulting regular boyz, you should be okay.
Marines of all types have been having trouble against the new orks, and the problem is that Orks can defeat them in both CC and shooting. Marines are certainly better than Orks at both shooting and CC, but the sheer number of orks can overwhelm marines, even in shooting. There isn't the paper-rock-scissors scenario anymore, where you want to either shoot or assault, depending on what army you're fighting. You've got to know which units to shoot, which to assault, and which to ignore.

Yes I hate that annoying lash! Its too good! Pass a LD of 10 and you get to make a unit useless for the whole game! In 500 point battles especially thats nasty!
i starting a new witch hunters and i read some articles about how to best deal with the masses of troops so i will probably invest in an exorcist soon in order to produce a more desirable effect in dealing with the troops.
against the new orcs witch hunters tend to be a bit hard to deliver a solid blow with any other way.
i'm also thinking of getting some death cult assasins in order to avoid having to take a butch of elites that aren't even that great.

Granted I have only faced the lash once, I did not have any problems with it. i had all my boys that were in range of it in trukks. Can't lash that! Really pissed off the opponent, but he was good about it. Of course if he is footslogging, then lash will do well. Probably will be that much better in rumored 5th edition. Then LOS and fire lanes can be corrupted by it.
Anyway, more to the point of beating the tar out of 130+ boys. Templates, templates, shooty, and templates. Don't let yourself get bogged down by them. If you have access to weapons that spit out high volume, take them.
Personally I would think Defilers would be a good choice as you can put some heavy flamers on it, you have an ordnance weapon and the only thing that can scratch you is the PK. Even normal boys on the charge will not do anything.
I don't fear templates so much because a KFF can negate that to some degree. It will also help with high rate of fire. The one thing that makes me more nervous than anything else is a whirlwind firing napalm rockets. Or worse yet, two of them firing napalm rockets! Those things just strip us naked and toast us on the barbi.
Just my thoughts...
i see this changes how i will be delivering my armies firepower a bit.

Something the gentlemen neglected to mention was to insist upon a scenario and rigorously pursue the objectives.
If he is footslogging 100+ he won't be able to reach all the objectives, and as long as you can do some victory-point denial (skilled hiding basically) you can win without needing to attrite him.
If you go mechanized so you have speed and armor on your side that will help.
"Orcs are what happens when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles grow old and bitter."
Even with all that said, I still believe that the greatest asset an ork can have is a cover save. Deny that and you put the ork player in a tight spot.
