A question regarding Yriel :
From his background story we know Yriel left Iyanden after Kelmon questioned his actions against a Chaos fleet.
Now when he left he took the Flame of Asuryan, his flagship, and a band of loyal followers with him.
Now on the followers: just crew for his flagship or did some other warships (Dragonships and Wraithships) also leave Iyanden to follow Yriel?

The inference of early fluff was that as a pirate he commanded a fleet, there were seperate colour schemes for Yriels personnal company and the rest of his pirate band etc
Everything you have been told is a lie!
Actually there was a failry full section in Battlefleet Gothic on the Pirate Fleet. Including how it flew back to save Iyanden from the Tyranid fleet, making even the Pyrric victory posible. I think the PDFs should still be availiable from the GW BFG site.
WizWom, do remember that while he and the fleet did come back to save the craftworld, he almost chose not because of what had happened between himself and the leaders of Iyandan.
