Quoted from my GW Newsletter email:Here's the link to the brood itself, but that doesn't say what their rules are going to be.Behemoth Crusher Brood:
Crusher Carnifexes have the Fleet special rule in Apocalypse and two sets of Crushing Claws - allowing them each to deliver 2D6 attacks!
Thoughts? This sounds cool to me. Fleeting Carnifexes with 2D6 attacks.

that sir, is insane, i can't imagine ever being able to do this... but still just thinking about it..
ahh...but the claws are expensive and can really make the fexes too many points. maybe if they gave a discount in points i'd do it.
That would be interesting to see the effects of a charge by 3 dual-clawed carnifexes. Assuming they ever actually get in charge range. 8X
I just played in an Apocalypse Mega-Battle event at my FLGS.
Incidently, we raised over $600 for charity. We made it to where you could buy rerolls for a dollar a die or the whole batch for five. No limits to how many times you could reroll a purchased reroll. Many fun stories came from that, but I am going off on a tangent.
This formation would have come in handy, especially with implant attacks as my brother and I bravely faced FOUR bio-titans on an 18000 point table. (9000 a side, 4500 a player.) Crushing claws are worth their points, at least in Apocalypse. Base attacks were not going to do the trick against stuff like that, esepcially since bio-titans have lash whips, so there goes the charge bonus every time. LOL I could only dream of 2d6 S10 2-wound attacks. As it was, my crushing clawed carnifexes took out several of its uber carnifex brothers. A possessed squad the had rending, two units of chaos terminators, two dakka-fexes, two squads of winged warriors with rending claws, and a chaos bike squad with fist ended up taking down the only bio-titan to fall.
BTW, my brother and I tied the table with 2-2 objectives as he took "vital objective" as an asset. LOL The score said tie, but the actuality of the day said something extremely different.
Sounds interesting, might have to build one more extra cc fex with crushing claws, hopefully it'll apply to other pure cc fex's as that would be far easier for me.
Wow that would be SICK! I hope that it actually ends up happening, that would be devestating!
Holy Flaming Crap! I Want That Soo Bad!
Just remember, 5th edition rules will be a little different and will more likely show us the advantages of using a brood such as this.
Rampaging carnifexes, its the dream we've all wanted to become true!
