Hello I am new to the Eldar and have been reading about the "Wraithgate" Could someone please tell what it is and and in what material to find it in? I have Both codexs but cant seem to find any mention in them about it. Thanks for all of the help.
Certainly, welcome to the Esoteric mysteries of the Eldar. The following eldar army rules exist (beyond the main rulebook):
Codex Eldar - generic Army list and basis for most others
Codex craftworld - an extension of Codex eldar, covering the main craftworlds (Siam Hann, Iyanden, Alaitoc, Beil Tann and Ulthwe) and the varriations these have on teh standard eldar army list (bikers, Wraith constructs, Snipers, Apect warriors and guadian/Seers respectively)
Codex eye of terror - contains the rules for Ulthwe strike forces, specifically this is the list that uses the gates to which you are refering
Harlequins - kind of wandering multiclass hairdresser/clowns on speed - army list is available on the GW web site
Exodites - kind of backwards Eldar or dinosaurs - semi official army lists on several sites
So for the gate, you need eye of terror codex, essentailly it is like (game wise not fluff wise) an Icon for summoning, effectively it is a blast marker through which the rest of your army appears, but it is only usable on ulthwe strike forces and with quite large limitations
Everything you have been told is a lie!
Thanks for the help.
its a lot like the Webway portal for dark eldar...
