In Chapter Approved it says that necron warriors block LOS (to destroyers) ONLY if their bases are touching.
Can a Destroyer(or HD) shoot "through" the necron warrior that is blocking LOS?
Also lets say a necron warrior gets creamed by a lascannon, but there is a Lord with Res/orb in 6 inches AND there is a monolith within 18 inches. In the event that the WBB roll is failed, does the necron warrior get a "second chance" to phase through the monolith portal and get another WBB roll (even though he was killed by a 2xT weapon+ there is a necron lord within 6 inches)? :w
If the Necron Lord is also within 6" of the Monolith, then the Warrior can. The WBB is taken after the warrior emerges from the portal. However, it is only eligibility to take another roll; if, for whatever reason, the Warrior would normally be unable to take a WBB there, he can't even if teleported thrugh the portal. Since the weapon that killed him was 2x toughness, the Lord would need to be on hand both times.
