I play Fantasy(TK and Brets) and am looking to start collecting a 40k army and Eldar caught my eye. I especially like the Biel-Tan colour scheme and would like to know more about them and the main models they employ so I can start buying buying buying
The most important thing to remember is that you can have any colours you want combined with any units you want. There is no restriction like that for anything in the game (except some would argue, ork red paint, its tough to 'counts as' red paint with blue).
Also keep in mind that there is no such thing as the Biel-Tan craftworld anymore. It's a style of play now, as opposed to a variation on the rules.
Theoretically Biel-Tan uses a lot of aspect warriors, in reality though they are the mech eldar craftworld. They would flood the board with wave serpents and falcons, being way too much armour and speed for an opponent to handle (labelled the cheesiest army in the game). If you want to follow this though remember that its getting kicked in the jewels come 5th edition.
I'd say use the Biel-Tan colour scheme and just make whatever army you like. Hell most of the biel-tan examples in the codex are on units like guardians, wraithguard and war walkers anyway, rather than aspect warriors.

If anyone wants any kind of help writing fluff for any kind of GW army just ask.
All of the above is true. Beil tan used to have its own rules (along with the other craftworlds) but is just a 'type' of army that can be made out of the modern dex but thier not beil tan per sey.
A true beil tan should have one of each aspect IMO and supported by vehicals tho this will be suicide in 5th as troops are the linch pin armys need to build on. That means dire avengers and um more dire avengers for you aspects so you get less points to spread around. Concentrait on what army you want so a beil tan army can be shooty (dark reapers, warwalkers, 3+squads of avengers) or cc (2+squads of avengers, 3+ squads of scorps/banshees) or fast (wave serpent + avengers, shining spears, swooping hawks, falcon + dragons) or lots o bodies (2+ guardian squads, 2+avenger squads, avatar).
All of the above have a distinct 'beil tan' feel as their all mainly aspect warrior choices. As for colour strictly speaking each aspect has their own color scheem seperate from the craft worlds so come up with a cool blend of the 2 (say do the beil tan color scheem on one sinde of the body).
Hope it all helps and welcome to the ranks of space elves.
