ok im starting orks and i have a $300 budget i was gonna start with 2 battle forces which would be $180 then i would hav $120 left to put into other things but im not sure what ill need to get since with the 2 battleforces ill be getting 2 trukks 6 bikes and 40 boys i need to know what else to buy with my $120 budget
2 Battle Forces is a strong start to an army, after that you can pretty much pick up whatever you like and be good to go.
If you want to wait, I'd pick up a 5th edition starter set. It comes with rules, dice templates, a bunch of Orks (20 Sluggas, 5 Nobs, 3 Koptas, and a Warboss) and some marines (target practice).
The 5th edition starter box is a good place to start, especially because of the SM's it comes with. A battleforce is a good idea to. You should write down your arny kist before buying most of your stuff though. The battleforce is great for speed freaks armies and balanced armies

This makes your start:
It all depends on what type of army you're going for, of course, but I'd get at least one more trukk. 3 trukks is basically the minimum for ensuring they won't all be picked off early (on a side note, keep them in cover and give them rams, so they can move through cover if necessary.
I'd also get 2 boxes of lootas/burnas, and an extra box of boyz. Use the box of boyz to make both lootas, burnas, meks and special weapons out of these sets. It'll do a lot for fleshing out your army. Burnas aren't so good without a transport, but with 5th edition you could always move an empty trukk back to pick them up. You could also buy a rhino or something and use it as a looted wagon, but there are better things to spend money on.
The last item is an HQ. If you want to convert a warp 'ead or big mek out of spare parts, then you're already set. For a warboss, you'll need to buy one separately, unless you want to make a warboss out of one of the bikes.
Anyway, here's what I'd get, if you want trukks:
2 battleforces: $180
1 extra trukk: $30
2 boxes of lootas/burnas: $40
1 extra box of boyz: $22
1 HQ of your choice (or convert it out of parts): $0-25
If you want more of a footslogging army (all on foot), I'd get this:
1 box of green tide (100 boyz and a Warboss): $175
2 boxes lootas/burnas: $40
Extra boxes of boyz if you like: $0-66
Optional: 2 Vehicles of some sort (Rhinos, Leman Russes, Land Raiders, etc): $60-90
Optional: 1 box of bikes $35
I'd run 60-80 boyz on foot, in 2-4 teams of 20-30, and convert the remaining boyz to make use of the extra parts (in both the green tide box and loota/burna sets) to make special troops, like kommandos, tankbustas, burnas, and teams of nobz.
It's up to you what special troops to make, but I'd definitely make them yourself out of regular boyz, rather than going with the rip-off box sets of metal figures. I added vehicles to the list because tankbustas and burnas need them, or else they won't be effective. They die far too quickly on foot. If you want to make a team of either, get vehicles, otherwise run everyone on foot.
The reason I added the box of bikes is because I really like warbuggies with rokkits, fielded individually in units of 1 buggy each...but at $25 each, they're an absolute rip-off. On the other hand, if you feel up to it, you could just start with bikes, add extra bits like an ork on the rear half of the bike, with a large gun, and call it a warbuggy. It's up to you. I just thought I'd mention it, since you don't have any fast troops in the army. I wouldn't use bikes otherwise though, not in this list.
In any case, good luck!

Your battleforce is a good way to start. From there i would advise you to hold off spending 60 bucks. Buy 3 box's of lootas/burnas, more boyz or more trukks with your other 60. But wait for the 5th edition starter set to come out. Find someone who plays space marines. Both of ou go in together and buy 2 boxes. For 60 bucks you get 40 boyz, 10 nobz, 2 warbosses, 6 deffkoptas, the 5th edition rulebook, all the dice, and all the templates. You cannot beat that. So total, you would have 42 boyz, 2 trukks, 6 warbikes, 15 lootas, and the aforementioned box set contents. Good luck.

what all is coming in the new starter set for both orcs and marines
20 Sluggas, 5 Nobs, 3 Deff Koptas, and a Warboss. Not sure of the setup of the boyz and nobs, since they're all snap-fit, but the Boss has a klaw and the Koptas have rokkits.
10 Marines (missile, flamer, bp/ccw Sgt), 5 Terminators, Dreadnought (multi-melta, yuck!), and a Captain.
Add in the mini-rulebook, templates, dice, and whippy sticks and you've got a great deal at $70 IIRC.
Yea, the starter is definitely your best pick. Then it's just about how you wanna run your Orksez. Here's a few idea for different setups...
Horde - Boys boyz boyz and more boyz, possibly some lootas to cover for them as well, maybe a KFF big mek or a gretchin cover line, etc.
Speed Freak - Alot of bikes, maybe biker nobs, koptas and boyz in trukks, possibly Wazdakka Gutsmek as an HQ
Heavy Assault - Nobz and meganobs, Lootas, Killa Kans, maybe a Deff Dread, and a Battlewaggin or two to soak up some fire.
Shooty - Shoota Boyz, Lootas are a must, possibly a SAG big mek to deal with 14 AC, alot of Kans, possibly some bikes or buggies.
Mechanized - Alot of Kans with a big mek or two to let you take Deff Dreads as troops, a ton of Trukks with Boys/Nobz/Meganobs/Burnas
Orks give you a lot of room to mess around with. Try any setup you can come up with and, if nothing else you'll have alot of fun with it regardless.

keep the battle forces and use the rest to buy imperial vehicles. you'll get plenty of bitz and have stuff for looted wagons and battlewagons. skip the landraiders and go for the russ's and rhinos. or whatever floats your boat. this will set you back $35-$45. then get more boyz and another trukk. with the left overs get whatever HQ you want.
My award winning Orky tale
I'd buy a box of lootas and a Big Mek with a shokk attack gun, i love the idea of snotlings flying through the warp and reemerging crazed and furious
