Welcome to Librarium Online!
Well, as some of you may or may not know I have been planning a Dark Mechanicus army (which would bring my Chaos armies up to 3... Daemons, Mortal and Mechanicus) and I was originally going to use Imperial Guard for it. But, upon further inspection I think Necrons would be much better. So, I was wondering if you could help me designate units (i.e. say whats what).
So, heres what I have so far:
C'tan- Gigantic Daemonic/Machine Hybrid
Necron Lord- Arch Magos
Flayed Ones- Death Servitors
Immortals- Better Servitors
Pariahs- No idea
Necron Warriors- Servitors
Scarabs- Mechandrite drones
Wraiths- Data Daemons
Destroyers- No idea (perhaps the Dark Mechanicus trying to copy a landspeeder?)
Monolith- Gigantic fortress type thing
Tomb Spyder- Mini Defiler creation
Heavy Destroyer- No idea (see above, destroyer)
So, any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
I think Pariahs may be ok as actual Pariahs (though im not too up on fluff) human who have been turned directly into machines, possibly?
I like the idea of Speeders for Destroyers.
Hmmm, for my Warriors/Immortals/Flayed Ones I'm thinking of Hordes of Chaos Marauders mixed with the Necron Warrior box.
Data Daemons I'm planning on using something akin to Chaos Spawn, then painting them to look like The Matrix coding.
The C'tan shall be akin to a gigantic defiler, but bipedal.
Tomb Spiders Im actually thinking of Terror Drones from Red Alert.... but bigger....
The main one I need help with is the Destroyers.
What about somthing like ork deff koptas (small helicopters) with a big gun on for the destroyers?

Servitors... don't forget servitors. Might make for nice pariahs if done right.
EDIT: Just re-read OP and dopeslapped self. Sorry. I still say servitor variants aren't bad, or you could use actual necron models, but you'd need to write some killer fluff indicating how your admech had "adapted" them to follow your commands, and even then you'd need something on the model to represent this.
I really think the sevitor spam is getting excessive, especially if you want to use them for warriors. I think this is a bad idea. It might be better (not to mention cheaper) to simply build a human army of admech followers for your "troop" choices, which would make the servitors seem more "special," which, if they are your elites choices, they will be.
The warriors could be robed characters, too, if you are confident enough in your green stuff skill. That would make getting models easy, as it almost wouldn't matter what they looked like under the admech cloaks. Hooded heads are available through a lot of ranges, and thewarstore could get you the head bits you need.
Another "troops" option could be using guard models of some kind that had been cybernetically "enhanced." You could call it anything from some "borrowed" guard units that were taken over by the mad scientist admech to (if you use catachan models) the indigenous population of a planet being taken for "experiments."
Destroyers are tough, since admech technically do not use skimmer technology. Barring actual skimmer tech you'll need to come up with something that's VERY fast on the ground and just call it a "skimmer" and hope your opponent isn't a wysiwyg nazi.
By these criteria, you could do a lot of cool stuff. You could model a servitor body of some kind onto a small six-wheeled or tracked "buggy" with all sorts of weapons mounted onto it. I've seen this done somewhere (Warseer? I forget) and it looked fantastic.
If you insist on building something that flies, another option would be a tricked-out set of familiars, like the floating skulls but with weapons attached. You could even mod one of those cherub familiar thingies into a gun-toting flying cupid of death!
Well I'm planning on having them look quite different. The idea going through my head for the moment is:
Warriors: Hordes of Chaos Marauders mixed with Green Stuff and Necron bits. I could make them look very cyberneticy. To make their 3+ save they will have areas "plated" with metal (like the chest). Then they shall have a suitably daemonic looking weapon in one arm, and a normal/bionic/both arm for the other.
Immortals: Similar design to Warriors, but with more metal plating, and the same gun as Warriors but on both sides of the body. Generally just more badass than my Warriors (like necrons with their immortals).
Flayed Ones: Death Servitors will be the easiest, they will just be the same as marauders, but more fearsome looking, combat attatchments (im thinking 4 arms), and a freaky skull mask.
Apologies for coming in late, just browsing through the 'Cron forums while coming up with ideas. Anyway, sounds like an extremely cool and very unique idea for an army!
As has been said before regarding the Warrior conversions, making them from Marauder / Necron bitz sounds good - but I also agree with the Warrior and Immortal conversions being too similar.
What I may suggest is using Cadian or Catachan Models with the Cybernetic bitz as the Warriors, then Chaos Marauders for a beefier looking conversion as an Immortal. Whereas the Guard models are slimmer and seem more like Grunts... Also allows you to quickly distinguish them on the battlefield!
Or the other option is to make Immortals from WHFB Chaos Warriors and your Warriors from Chaos Marauders.
Flayed ones could be cool with Reaper Scythe style hands and a Green Stuff hood. Kinda like Mini Grim Reapers... That might look good, but you've got a cool idea there anyway, which would be simple to do with you having plenty of Flails and Morning Stars from the Marauder box.
As for Destroyers, what about using Jetpacks of some form? It's been said that Skimmer technology is frowned upon, but I'm sure Jetpacks would be Koshur? To merit the extra toughness and usage of Heavy weapons, what about using Cybernetically altered Ogres? I just like converting things out of WHFB Ogres Guard Ogryns and Khorne Bloodcrushers, along with numerous other planned conversions...
Lastly, Pariahs are meant to be the combination of Human and Necron stuff... what about some converted Chaos / Imperial Space Marines with cybernetic parts, in a mimic of Grey Knights and their Halberd Weapons? Dark Mechanicus Grey Knights, their Storm Bolter hand counting as the "built-in Gauss Blaster", then the Halberd itself as the War Scythe. What do you think?
Have you got any pictures of test conversions? It'll be cool to see them. Anywho... hope I've helped in some way!
This all makes me want to start an army along these lines to swell the ranks of my Necron army, kinda like "The Inducted"... Hmmmmmmmm

First thing I will say is when its going to be Chaos based mechanicus use the chaos codex they're is enough interesting units in there to have fun with both in conversion and gamewise.
Deamon Prince - Renegade Magos in a mech
Oblivators - robots
Dreads - bigger robots
marines - servitors
defiler - knight titan or some other machanical monster
Also I've experienced facing a servitor army and trust me they look cool a friend at the local club has created a mechanicus from the witch hunter list and the servitors count as sisters of battle so he uses acts of faith as acts of the machine god, its awesome.
The main problem you'll have is the task to make the model look similar to the model it represents for example armming a marine with a gauss blaster won't make it a warrior and if you slap on a few necron bits to the armor you threaten bastarising the model. But if you going to make a chaos mechanicus using the necron list you will likely confuse most of your opponents.
But its your army so its your choice, also i thought you maybe interested in the servitor and techpriest conversions below...
