Well heres the skinny I read the Uthwe Strike Force strategy topic and im working on my army I just need a little help.
1. Do they sell farseers with Wraith Swords/ Blades I cant remember the name I apoligize or can I use a warlack as a farseer as long as I make it apparent.
2 I have a squad of guardians with a star cannon on the way 3 rangers 1 warlock 1 falcon 2 dark reapers 1 Falcon 1 Vyper with a shruken catapualt that im gonna make a bright lance an avatar. What should I buy next other then filling up my sear council and another box of guardians and another platform.
3 What is the uthwe non strike force battle strategy how are they best used
4 what is the best strategy against demon hunter weapons
Thank you for answering my question im sorry to have bothered you but I play Nids and I picked up eldar from my freind really cheap. There are also no other eldar players in my area other the a Beil Tan player which I rarely see.
OK just a few Qs then.
1.The figures are by and large interchangeable, generally farseers have bigger horns (for want of a better word) but as long as your opponent can distinguish between the two there isnt a problem
3.Ulthwe Craftworld lists are quite simmilar to the USF list, but you got options which you already have the figures for (the falcons for example), the stratergies can be exactly the same but can run off in all sorts of directions, it is kind of 'how long is a piece of string
4. Dont take Avatars? no seriously, i you are facing DH with gray knights and nemesis force weapons....
a) avoid assults if possible, you have alot of shooting options that can seriously hurt pwered armour mostrosities, take D cannon, take star cannon, take wraithguard, take reapers any of these kill even GK s in laarge numbers.
if he does get close, assult him with banshees, hit first with a power weapon, you may not take down a grand master, but you will wipe out his squad, leaving him exposed to subsequent fire.
Everything you have been told is a lie!
I am a DH player, and have just started building my Eldar army. I might be able to help you with the strategy against them. First aviod close combat at all costs. They are deadly, and the DH player will want to get into HtH quickly. Also watch out for the DS troops which is a must for DH's. Try to use the hind and seek if possible with the falcons, and Vyper. The only piece of armor that the Dh have is the LR which a brightlance should be able to deal with. DO NOT take the avatar. he is no match against them. also if you take pskers make sure they have high leadership values.
