Over the last couple weeks i've bought my game stores only 2 boxes of orc boyz and converted them into Slugas/nob with pk/heavy weapons but im left with only 20 boyz and plenty of extra arms. I was wondering if anyone has bought the fantisy orks and put 40K orks parts on them. It seems like the look of them isn't that different and the fantisy box gives you almost a full 20 bodies as long as i provide the bases and the arms.
Sure, I've done that. Fantasy orcs are actually slightly cheaper than 40k ones, and if you already have 40k arms, I can't see a problem with attaching the 40k limbs. It's a great way to make the unit look unique.
Honestly, I've seen plenty of people play fantasy orks as 40k orks without giving them 40k arms. An orc is pretty much just an ork, regardless of setting. ^_^
Of course, do you have extra round bases? If not, the cost of a bag of round bases will probably offset most of the cost benefit. I'd still do it though, just to make the unit look more unique.

i'd do it if i needed slugga boys. i used a black orcs boxed set to make my nob sqaud instead of buying the more expensive metal nobz.
Yes its fine, every part of the fantasy and 40k orks is completely interchangeable...torsos...heads, arms, legs, you just need the round bases and your set.
Joe Peshi (lone wolf) kill tally:Lash Sorcerer, Ghazkull, Yriel, Termi Libby, Vulkan.
Box of orcs + box of orks = half slugga/choppa half shoota, plus heavy weapons and nob
