Welcome to Librarium Online!
I have been using the fletchette discharger in most of my battles since i got a devilfish and it is possibly the greatest weapon ever [especially against Tyranids and Orks] wit there super bad armour save and large numbers.
From what i can understand if the devilfish is assaulted then every unit that assaults it must take an armour save or suffer one wound. Am i using it right because it seems too good to be true against those oh so stupid moving targets that everyone seems to call Orks.
Destruction is the work of an afternoon. Creation is the work of a lifetime.
I would also want to know what it does what is DOG?

if you move over the unit and they have to do the death or glory then they take the armor save. but if thewy just decide to move out of the way it doesnt do nething. i think
"Learn to shorten your reach! If your foe can come close enough to negate your striking power, all strategem is lost and when all stratagem is lost, the battle is lost."

yes i believe thats right. the flechettes are only used in death or glory (ie.: you move the devilfish/hammerhead into a squad in your move phase in the attempts to squash them. if they decide to take the death or glory attack-they have to first take a save. if they choose no models for DoG then they just move to the side. if in their assault phase, they assault the 'fish, then the flechettes do nothing
