Welcome to Librarium Online!
Is the nightbringer better than the deciever. Just, i got 12 warriors and 3 scarabs, next i want a HQ choice.
But i think the necron lord is naf
Could you help us?
A Necron Lord with a Destroyer Body and Warscythe is a force to be reckoned with, and is also a lot cheaper. Get the Lord! ^_^
I agree with Exterminatus-Squeebie, a lord is your best bet until u reach 1800pt games. Thats where I would start using a c'tan. Now to choose between the c'tans comes down to what u prefer a cc monster or a guy who uses a lot of tatics to win, like scaring his opponents. If u want the cc monster I would go with Nightbringer (many people prefer him), but if your looking for a cheaper substitute that isnt all that bad I would go with the deciver. But i dont see why u are worring about buying a c'tan so soon, at your stage I would buy some more warriors, a lord, and destroyers. Hope this helps!
THANKS, THAT WAS A GREAT HELP!
But should i get a destroyer lord or just a lord
Destroyer lord extra move and T, my friend uses two lords 1 with pariah's bodyguard and one with his wraiths.
To begin with i would get a lord on foot, once u get used to him then i would purchase the destroyer lord. The reason I say this is because lord on foot has more wargear options to choose from and with the destroyer lord u can sometimes stray from the phlanx because u will be tempted to assualt something that is out of the regualr warriors movement. Remeber lord is supposed to be a support unit to a squad, not a 1 man fighting machine. And I wouldnt take two lords in less than a 2000pt game because 200pts is alot of pts which you could spend on other things like warriors to increase your phase out, destroyers (reg and heavy), and immortals. Hope this helps!
If it were between the Nightbringer and the Deciever. I'd choose the Nightbringer because you're already going the whole hog.
But yeah, C'tan shouldn't be used much. Pick a Necron Lord instead.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
Nightbringer is for those looking for straight out uberkilly goodness; Deceiver is for those who enjoy screwing with their opponents minds by (for example) rearranging their entire deployment on the fly in the moments before the battle begins and engaging in all kinds of shenanigans thereafter.
However, if you're not already an advanced tactician, you're going to have some trouble getting NB into HTH and keeping him alive long enough to recover his points against a skilled opponent. C'tan are points sinks and people are so afraid of them they'll pour fire into them - and if that fire is sniper rifles or similar, they're going down.
You're probably better off with another Lord with Res Orb and/or Veil and the saved points in more warriors or towards a monolith- if you're playing necron and not using at least one ResOrb, you're practically unique. ResOrbs make your army dead hard. The VOD is one of the best pieces of kit in the game. Lords all the way, out to 2000 pts.
