O.k, I am going to start a Necron army, and I am going to paint them marbel
(Painting & Patterns)
And I am un-sure if I should paint White marble, or Honey marble (at the bottom)
What is your opinion?
Wow...I hope you're patient. I hardly put up with highlighting my minis...
I think both would look fine, the honey marble would give them a more desert feel though, compared to the white which looks like real marble. It would make your necrons look as if they were stone statues practically. (that would be a great looking army btw)
After a couple minutes I'll say white marble. I will also say good luck to you and goodbye to your hair as this will have you yanking it out once you finish your warriors
Thanks, I have had me heart set on only painting the 'lith in a marble pattern, but I think marble is just gonna look better than bright green and red to be honest.
Heres hoping I can do the viens!
BTW thanks for your Tactica on tomb spyders, you've convinced me to use them actually!
(Note: I tried to rep you, but I wasn't allowed, said I had to spread around rep before giving it to you again!)

Hey, I may be able to help you (maybe) I have a friend that had came up with a technique for painting his warp spiders that makes it look kind of like the effect your going for.
What he did it painted red gore on in a smooth layer, then put a really spotty layer of blazing orange on and then did a layer of red ink.
Wow! Your idea sounds really cool! But it will take you a lot of time for each warrior to finish. Anyway I am sure that the result will be awesome!! Upload some pictures when you will finish!!
I will uploa the pics at around christmas, sorry!
Necrons-Currently building, finished by feb with any luck.
