Well i posted in the "What army thread" here is my postSo theres a little back story . So would the Necrons be for me or not, I love the models and fluff behind the race. I dont think i would go all out in points value prolly 500 point blocks.Alright, after having finished my IG army/working on a pure Goblin/NightGoblin army in FB. Im looking to start a new 40K army, I have no idea for the race.
Heres what i want-
-Different playstyle than IG
-I would prefer an "evil" army, fluff wise
-I would prefer a small elite army
I had the Necrons in mind but they lack weapon upgrades etc. Thats not a bad thing but i love customization. The Dark Eldar spring to mind but the models/codex are so old. Also i could go SM since i have 1 Tac squad and the new starter set gives you a nice set.
Anyway, feel free to promote other races than the ones i said.
Also is it uncommen too see none metallic Necrons?
With the news that in 5th only troops are scoring units, Necrons seems like a good answer. Plus iv liked them for awhile. They were going to be my first army but i played DoW too much with the IG lol.
You can still kit out your Lords with interesting toys right, from what iv read you can.
Next time im at a GW, ill get the codex and a box of Warriors. Iv always wanted to paint Necrons non metallic. I had this cool paint scheme but now i cant remember lol
Also i love the idea of the Tomb Spyders, how they assist in the WBB rule (One of the reasons why i like em). I dont have a codex how exactly to they help with the WBB?
i see Necrons lack the "ferry" tanks, what about the monolith and the whole teleporting thing. That sounds helpful.
The double range on the WBB rule sounds awesome, the chaos demons do look cool exspecially since there still pretty new that makes them nice.
I think im still leaning towards Necrons,Thats what i want, the harder the army the better.Well, Necron's scoring units arent a very good in 5th edition.... Necrons got knocked off the totem pole of powerful armies in 5th edition. They as of now are probably one of the harder armies to play.
still stuck at walking speed but you moving behind a wall thats very hard to destroy and will give a possible 5-18" boost in distance in a turn

Sounds good, so whats the range you can teleport and are there any restrictions like cant shoot and teleport etc.
Nice, so do they have to teleport to the Monolith or do they teleport anywhere with an inches move allowance?it can teleport 1 necron unit with in 18", that unit get to re-roll failed WBB rolls, if either moved before teleport they can't move after teleport
Also they cant shoot after being teleported? I wouldnt think so just asking.
I really love the whole teleporting thing as you can prolly see
