For over 300 points i can feild an avatar 8 hariles (5 kisses) and a shadowseer ( A )
4 shining spear,1 exarch, withdraw power, 1 autarch on jetbike with lance and mandiblasters. ( B )
both units can handle a mix of infantry and even vehicles. The avatar and harlies inflict more over all wounds, the spears and autarch more unsaveable wounds. The ( A ) group have more wounds and invunerable saves ( B ) group has better base save but is faster and can turbo for a great cover save.
Each have their strong points i know. but which would you feild as best over all?
I'm leaning towards the ( A ) group as i face hordes of orks and nobz with power claws, but i like the mobility and anti-everything of the ( B ) group

uhm... I'd go with the first one any day... besides, an Avatar is a MUCH more effective anti-tank weapon than some puny lances...
avatar is an extremely reliable and sound model with good staying power, something a lot of eldar armies lack. Harlequins are ok in my opinion, but can do pretty decently with the shadowseer. The autarch and shining spears seem good until you fail an armor save or two and realize that you just lost 100+ points. I like autarchs on bikes, but dont like when they get instant killed by assault cannons . Yes the mobility is good, but regular jetbikes can perform very well shooting wise, be just as mobile, and most importantly, capture objectives. I think that out of the 18 games ive played, bikes have decided the outcome in at least half just because they capture objs.
