I would like to know how do you guys get the wings for your Hive Tyrands? I am not sure if the kit is going to come with a pair or I will have to source from other kits, please advice, thanks.
Thanks for the suggestion, I found that from the Fantasy bitz Games Workshop, but it is metal, gonna be heavy as.

The winged Hive Tyrant I have is the best one I have ever seen. I actually saw one at a tournament the other day done the same exact way.
It's using wings from a Mage Knight dragon. They look spectacular. I bought my HT already assembled, so I don't know which dragon, but it shouldn't be too hard to find.
I like it much better then the Balrog wings becuase IMHO they are too 'demon' looking and don't look right on the HT. In general, the 'lizard' look of a dragon suits it better.
Try the plastic Dragon wings from Warhammer Fantasy. A lot easier to model on than some metal wings. Ive seen a few done with this set of wings and they look cool.
i used the metal bloodthirster wings for my cc tyrant, theres just something about them that seems to fit in with a tooled up combat beast
Hive Fleet Penance - 3500 Points - 4/1/0
Waaaaaaagh Skagtrot (40k Orks) - In Progress
Dinhar Whitestar's Dragon Host (H.E) - 2000 Points
As Sinjin said the plastic Dragon wings from WHF work very well that is what I use and have had great succuss with them.
Here is the link where you can get them:
